I now believe Reid dooped us on Feeley, which led Tice to realize he could pull the same crap. Reid b.sd' Wanny in to believing that another team was interested in Feeley and drove Wanny up to a porsche's value on a volkswagon. Got it too.

I am not implying Feeley is bad, just the price was to high considering he was an unproven 3rd stringer and Volleck was a FA.

Why did Wanny not call NE and ask if they wanted to move up to our spot for little less than what Minny was saying. Not that bright! Hindsight. Anyone else believe this is the case.

I do not think Reid is as dumb as Tice and would come out and say it. B/c then it would ruin future doops.

I would have taken Volek last year over Feely, hands down (pre-trade). I liked Volek after I saw him play in 2003, and he played much better last year than McNair did. I guess our guys didn't think he had the arm to be a starter, but at least for a while last year he lead the league in passer rating on deep balls. Anyone who saw him connecting last year to Drew Bennett would agree that this guy was much more ready to take the helm than Feely. As for the Titans, i think Volek will finish the year for them and Mcnair will retire.

You cant blame this one on Wanny. The Feeley trade was all Rick Spielman and he doesnt have a job here because of it. He still doesnt have a job. Go figure.

I agree. 2 years ago he did the same thing. Not for as many games, but looked sharp. Deep ball looked great to me. That is a Wanny thing. He sees through different shades than you or I.

I think we would be in a great position if we had Volek

I do not believe it! Wanny was working w/ Spielman and Wanny had final say on the deal.

the iggles saw us coming and their mouths started watering... i'm surprised they didn't try to take us for more

I think it was Dve's way of seeming to want more from his qb, w/o having to replace and admit Fiedler was a mistake.

Believe it or not, its the truth. Yes, Wanny made some dumb deals and we all know that, but this one was done by his buddy Rick. Even Wanny knew Feeley was a turd.

Feely would have been much better if he wasn't stuck on Wanny's team, he proved that in Philly. So Dave made the turd.

also a sidenote...Feeley was worth a 2nd to us...and then Alexander, Edge didnt get traded for a 3rd........

A second would get us, Alexander, Edge, Ramsey,Kitna, and whoever is Manning's backup's backup. I thought Kitna slash that, "think" Kitna would be alright. He will not be in Cincy unless Palmer get's hurt so bad he can not come back to play anymore. That is for next year.

Lance Armstrong could have played well for the Eagles, and Wanny had final say on personnell moves.

Norman hand and Fletcher and on and on, all got better when they left the Wannywerd dolphins. Heck, Wanny's buddy made Marino look like a sewege pit! When your mentor makes OB1kenobee look lie C3Po, you do not have much going!

As much as I dislike Wanny and would like to saddle him with the mistake of trading a 2nd rd for Feeley... Rick had final say over personell decisions last season as far as bringing the players in. I'm not saying Feeley wont ever be a serviceable QB in the future, but the fact is that he wasnt worth the 2nd rd pick we gave for him.
