Looking back at the trade for Feeley

They both said they would work hand in hand on prsonnel dec. Maybe they were sugar coating it I do not know!

I would say that was just a front to save face for Wanny... especially since Wanny brought Spielman in and was his boss to begin with. We all knew Wanny wasnt happy with the Feeley acquisition because of the way he handled the QB situation throughout camp, the preseason, and into the regular season. It wasnt because he didnt think Feeley could play, he didnt want to be wrong about Fiedler and have his "new boss" show him up.

I do not believe it! Wanny was working w/ Spielman and Wanny had final say on the deal.

Wanny had been stripped of personnel power by the time Feeley was acquired. Spielman had final say on personnel matters at that point. Besides, why would Wanny try to trade for a guy he never liked from the start?
