So we all know the painful history with the Texans. Ever since coming into the league this team has gotten the best of of the Dolphins at every meeting. Since Miami is actually being talked about in a positive light for once this off season it got me wondering how well we might fair against the Dolphins kryptonite team.

How about we play our first 5 opponents before we start talking about the Texans! Cool?

I hope people here don't think fans looking ahead somehow impacts the teams focus???? We're not that important, coaches coach, players play, fans talk it's what we do.

Texans was one of the games that scared me when I first saw the schedule. We've been beaten by them every time! But, this has been a very different pre-season and the aura around our team is amazing . Therefore, I'm expecting a Dolphins win!

This is a message board, not a football field. We the fans don't have to worry about looking ahead.

That said, I think we've got a pretty solid chance of beating them. Offensively, they've got a bunch of issues: 1. Who's playing quarterback for them? Hoyer? Meh. 2. Arian Foster (groin) might go on short term IR meaning he could miss half the season. Even if he doesn't, most of the most optimistic forecasts have him missing the first 5-7 weeks. 3. Johnson is no longer there, so we can concentrate on bottling up Hopkins.

Defensively, they'll be tough especially for our OLine, that D-line will definitely give us fits...but if we can give Ryan even a few seconds, he and our receivers can pick on that average secondary. We are the better team and "should" beat them. Of course, we all know how that goes, but I'm still confident. The team will definitely be aware of our history against them...hopefully giving them a bit of extra motivation.

We should have stout reliable D and solid O, we should be good. I think Texans have more issues.

Im looking fwd to the Eagles game.

The Texans are going down, that little streak is gonna end.

Anything less than 6-0 would surprise me.

How often do you come around here?

This place is the lunatic fringe.

There are a number of posters around here who would argue with you for days for saying that.

Just realized it'll probably take 10 years or more for Miami to lead the series with Houston since they trail 0-7. That's assuming miami doesn't lose to them again in that span lol
