Hello, my name is Juan Huron and I've lived in Orlando since I was fourteen years old, but I'm originally from Argentina. I was a high school star throughout my tenure there, but soon there after I had to move back to my native country due to family issues. Well, I'm back now, and I'm looking for a try-out. Does anyone know where Dolphin's training camp is? I've been making phone calls left and right, yet can't seem to find anything. Don't think I'm undertrained, though. I run a clean 4.4 and am on a hard workout routine to continuously gain weight -- as you can see, I'm only at about 175 right now, my goal is to get in the 190-195 range before early August.

Name: Juan Huron
Location: Tampa -- but on vacation right now, will be back soon
40: 4.4
Bench: 235
Past experience: High school; played on Argentina team for short term; tried out for Arena league: had other issues to attend (would've made team, played impact role)

Basically it's been my dream to play for the Miami Dolphins ever since I was a young kid, and I see my window of opportunity opening by the minute. Does anyone have Nick Saban's number, or anyone with any affiliation with the Miami Dolphins. As soon as I find out I'll be down there ASAP, giving it my all and busting my rear end in hopes of making this talented squad. If not, then I will continue training, but I'd hope to make the practice squad since it would give me tons of experience.

Thank you for your time,

Juan Huron signing off.

Go to the official site and you'll find the address or just Google and you find all the info you need to contact someone on the team for a try out. How tall are you?? 4.4 is ipressive, but speed isn't everything. You say you were a standout, but how long were you away from the game?? I've never known anyone who tried to make the team, so I don't know what your chances are, but given the amount of talent the fins have you'll have a hill to climb. If I were you I'd try as hard as I can to make the team, good luck.

so your telling me...since i broke my schools passing td record this year, record was 20, i threw 21, and had 325 rushing yards and 3 rushing tds. i can play in the nfl. i run about a 4.68 40 yard dash, and i bench 250.im also 6'4 about 215, 220 lbs... so that means im ready for the pros? especially at qb? sweetness where do i sign up. me and you should get together and play some catch sometime. the only thing i got offered was a division 2 scholarship, sucks coming from a small town

Maybe you should try to walk-on to a college program first bro.

You gotta crawl before you can walk.

Thanks for the info, I'm 5'11, 175+ right now. But I've been gaining weight at a fast rate. I used to play WR/CB/PR/KR when I was in HS, and excelled in everyone. I know I seem undersized, but I plan to be at around 190 in a month or so. Another one of my better qualities is hands. Before I moved to Orlando we never played with a football, but rather an egg shaped ball filled with whatever we could put in it. I was away from the game for about a year, but I train year round and made up plays with a friend who is a pretty strong arm, practiced running routes everyday, sprints, etc. Anything I could think of.

Thanks for the advice.

ha i know...if u couldnt tell i was being sarcastic about going pro. but my stats are true

Juan,if you're serious about playing football I would look into colleges first.Your avatar info says you're only 18,get a few years in college then see if you're ready for the "big time"(NFL).You can always go to a Jr.college( and still play football) first to get your grades up if need be,then transfer to University to play ball.Good luck man.

Hey O, congrats on your accomplishments so far and all the best in the future.

This may be of use, it's from the official site of our beloved Miami Dolphins:

I think that's the facility because I know camp is in Davie, Florida. :cooldude:

Get an agent.

If not that. send workout tapes to every front office in the NFL.

Good luck.
I was thinking about that, but then I thought about what if the NFL doesn't work, and I want to go to another program, ala a college, another league, etc. But I should meet the requirements if I made the team.

I played WR/PR/CB in HS, although I doubt I'd make a successful CB. When I played in HS I was heavily scouted by recruits, whenever I was approached by one they either complimented me on my speed or hands. They always said I'd have to pick up more weight to be successful, though. But that was also 20 lbs ago, and I plan on gaining 15-20 more.

On you: a scholarship is still a scholarship, if you excell, you can transfer out and go to a D1 school. My friend, an LB who I went to school with went to a D2 school.

I wish you well Juan in your Quest to play in the NFL, hopefully in your case with the Fins. It will be a long hard haul and I hope you are up for it :dolphins:

Thanks for the advice, I've been thinking about that as well. Maybe this is a little sudden, but you never know.

Thanks for the advice, I just might do that now, since football is coming up and it would be wise of me to gain more experience before taking the next step. Sorry about the age in the profile, I spent one of my years in college in Argentina, I'm actually 19 right now and would be going into my sophmore year. As long as I gain some experience, and pick up a few more lbs I'll continue on my journy.

Again, thanks for info.
