Im frustrated and mad but I am choosing to try and stay positive.
Here are the few good things I took away from the game.

1) Miami's D is playing awesome. The run D stepped up from last week and thats with both Timbo and Chester out of the game. The D only gave up 9pts and really only game up 3 of those points the others the D was way backed up cause of poor field position.

2) Will Poole proved he is a player. Miami's best CB Surtain was out for the game and Will Poole really stepped it up. Having to line up vs both Chad Johnson and Pete Warrick he didnt give up and big passes and played very well IMO.

3) Zach Thomas still has gas in the tank. The man was all over the place making tackles. For those of you complaining his tank is empty go rewatch the game. And for that matter Seau had a pretty good game as well.

4) For those of you who had the nerve to say JT would miss Ogunleye...4 Tackles, 1 Sack, 1 Int and was generally pressuring Palmer all day even with a hurt foot.

5) Randy McMichael proved once again not only is he a playmaker but he is the fire of the offense. I was so happy to see someone on O screaming their heads off trying to slap some sense into the Oline. He will emerge as an O leader.

6) Turk is going to save us a lot this year. The man was booming some kicks and generally saving Miami D from being backed up even more.

7) well this one is kinda a negative-positive. Its clear (at least to me) what the problem is...I dont think its fair to pin this loss on AJ or Gordon. This loss is squarely on the OLINE. They are 100% at fault for not getting it done. Gordon was repeatedly being hit behind the line or running into walls with no place to run and AJ was constantly pressured with no time to set and throw the ball. Something needs to be done on the OLINE...IF...BIG IF it can be done then I think Miami will win some games.

8.) We were missing key starters:
Rob Konrad ( Excellent blocker, pass catcher, may be a big part of our offense).
Tim Bowens/Larry Chester (Big guys on our D)
Patrick Surtain(One of NFL's best corner)

I saved alot of money by switching to Geico

I'm with you positive is what we have to be, tonights positive is that Wanny didn't put Feidler in!

McMichael's intensity.

Our D (nice game for Poole covering some tough recievers).

Brightful on the rare occasions he didn't fumble :fire:

Sam Madison proved that he still has elite ability at CB. Chad Johnson was shut down tonight.

The more I think about it, the more I think that may have been the best I have seen our D play in quite some time. That they did it without Bowens, Chester, Surtain, and Howard speaks even more about them.

1. Sam Madison- People on this board have written a lot of **** about him, and he played fantastic

2. Will Poole- Teams go after rookies left and right. Did you see him getting picked on?

3. Offensive Line- Just kidding

4. Derrius Thompson- Apparently he's still alive.

5. Antuan Edwards- The knock on him was his ability to stay healthy. If he can, he is a very active, physical safety. Note to Arturo: The coverage on Chad Johnson at the end of the game is why you're NOT starting and Antuan is.

6. Junior Seau- Dude can still run

7. Zach Thomas- Someone call Canton and tell them to start making the bust now.

8. Defensive Line- For being totally depleted. At one point we were playing David Bowens, Jay Williams, Bryan Robinson, and Chidi Ahonatu. 3 of these men didn't play for us last year, and we STILL shut down the run.

9. Chris Chambers- He's the man. Someone throw him the ****ing ball.

10. Randy Mc- Is a real weapon. He and Chambers should have 6+ catches each game.

Defense and Randy!!!! those two go without saying. Now the one i will get bashed for.AJ FEELEY. yes, I like his grit and heart. Yes, he threw a int for 6 to the wrong team on either a bad read or mis route, (most likely bad read). AJ has been thrown to the wolves without an oline or a real proven RB and he stood in there and took his shots. Did he throw a few that made me cringe, yep. But he was a leader, cool calm and collected and was doing all he could for the win. Our oline hung him out to dry and it is a shame cause the kid has talent and could be something with some time to throw and the fans support (HINT HINT)
