I have realized that sometimes you just need to slow down, take a step back and look into something from an outside perspective to get the whole picture. So this is what I've been doing. Instead of reading all the Miami based forums and news sites and so forth, I went over to other teams forums and sites. They are talking about us and we deff are being recognized especially with the Monday Night outing. Sometimes, we get too involved in our teams bs, you don't recognize what you have. We might not be the perfect team, but we are doing it the right way, instilling a "team" atmosphere and no me first *** holes. anyways It is always to hear things from the perspective of others to truely appreciate what you have. Here is a post on gang green that Im tallking about. Just copy and pasting it.
The NFL is all about adjustments, depth and attrition. Seasons aren't made in September they are made in November and December.
Reality we have a thin and not a very young D Line. It was in the mid 80's with 75% humidity in Miami last night. Miami has two big, strong fast and experienced running backs a big TE who can block and a QB who can move, has a quick release and can get the ball over the top with ease.
Miami didn't go 11 and 5 last year because of Chad Pennington, they did it with a big time run game and a very decent D.
We have played 3 passing teams and 2 running teams. TN beats us if they don't implod on special teams.
Pace was jacked up last night and over pursued like a mad man and it hurt us early.
On O for two weeks in a row Keller has been taken out of the game and teams have dared us to beat them deep. We did that today.
Reality is the season is a war, we lost a battle. We have to beat Buffalo and Miami or we aren't going to the playoffs. We are not likely to face two running backs and an over loaded O-Line in that kind of heat again.
We have film we have good coaches, stop panicking because a very good running team beat up on a thin Big DL that doesn't have enough guys to rotate who are good enough to go against that kind of running attack without unbelivable descipline.
