i hear people saying harvey, groves, henne, and flacco.. but what if miami is looking to trade up for meyo? miami is lacking an inside linebacker more than anything on the defense. they have olb in moses, porter, and alexander plus groves is looked at as a late second by some nfl sources. meyo is around the same size as ray lewis, and plays with about the same intensity. this may be me looking for a sign of hope but, harvey will be far gone. groves is not first round talent. henne is an underachiever from michigan. flacco, well who really watched a season of flacco ball here?
heres to a perfect couple.... the tuna and meyo..

I personally don't believe there is anyone worth trading up for. This Miami franchise has COUNTLESS amount of holes to fill and is also a franchise that is not expected to contend this year for a championship. This is a 2-3 year process and taking best player available at every pick is the way to go.

IMO.

this is my oppinion on who ireland parcells wants compared to popular demand. this is just a player i believe could be who they want if they move up!

I think it would to be Harvey or Meyo. All the Flacco and Henne talk might be to get other teams to reach and take one or the other to have other players available when we pick. I think we may take Henne but we won't have to move up to do it.

Maybe, but the Dolphin have gotten to 1-15 building on late round picks. we have traded away so many of he earlier (1-2) that we haven't the benefit of that talent pool. I think it's smart to try to get 1 or 2 more earlier round picks if it just cost JT and maybe a few later picks.

I assume BP has a plan and I would guess he wants the Dolphins as good as possible by time his contract is up. Seems to me bringing in potential starters in the 1st and 2nd rounds is a much quicker way to do that than less talented and possibly backup guys in the later rounds.

I don't see us trading up for Mayo, mainly because i believe we can get Curtis Lofton in the 2nd. I think Loftons a fantastic player and will be a great MLB.

I think we want Henne. I don't want henne, but i think Parcells does.

Baring the fall of a top 5 pick into the late teens (which isn’t going to happen), I vote 100% no for a trade up.

We need MORE PICKS not less. The draft is, ultimately, a roll of the dice numbers game.

This teams needs to build horizontally before we go vertical.

If we do trade into the first round I think people are gonna be shocked, because I don't think we are interested in a QB or a pass rusher. I think it's quite possible that we trade back into the first round to nab one of the stud CBs in this draft.

Parcell's is a defensive guy, and he understands that in the current NFL you need at least 3 good corners. Especially when you have NE in your division and their propensity to spread the ball out to multiple receivers.

I think moving up for a QB with this class is a complete waste. I'd target a trade of JT for our prayed for late 1st, to pick up Dustin Keller at TE and then pick up Dan conner with the 2nd round pick followed later by Groves of Auburn at DE.....
