Looking towards 2008

Getting either a franchise LT or a shutdown CB is necessary for next years draft. I'm not sure if Carey will be good enough as a left tackle to solidify the spot. And unless Jason Allen steps up big time, we're gonna need another corner, Cason should be a real possibility.

Brohm, Phillips, Cason, Gaither, Maualuga are all on my wish list.

This is not necessarily true. Without first seeing who excels this year and who shows promise...one can not just say we "need" this or need that.

Right now, no one can state that we need a franchise LT without first seeing if Carey is or isn't that player.

Same thing with a shutdown CB. First see if Jason Allen is or isn't that player.

Right now, maybe another G would "seem" like a need and "maybe" another S. But CB actually looks deep with Will and Jason Allen at CB and Travis Daniels, Andre Goodman, and Shirdonyell Mitchell. So right now, it seems pretty deep at CB.

Give me Dan Connor so we can have a nice young, talented LB corp. Seems like a cant miss prospect.

Did yall see Paul Oliver on there at 18! He was going to be a stud, the best player on the Georgia Defense, and the leader. We did not address a corner in this years draft so we probably are going to next year anyway. I say we put out a third for PO in the Supplemental Draft this year and it would be a better investment than any draft picks next year. And I have never heard anything off the field about him except for hes not the brightest lightbulb

Good stuff,i only got 2 problems with this,1) If he's not getting good grades/or doesn't like school, will he be smart enuff to pick up a difficult def.2)The supp. draft player dont usually turn out to be anything but "BUSTS" even if talented,i'd rather save our picks, and get STUDS in next years draft.

well personally a think an end to groom behind jason and another linebacker would be a need along with possibly another corner.
