Here's a list of who projects to available, and it ain't pretty. The Pats McCourty is the only big upgrade I see but, he will be pricey after a VG year when he costs $5M. No draft expert but Collins looks like the only one, and is a first rounder

IMO, Delmas is the next best option, with Searcy from Buff being close.

Anyone I'm missing?[

I like Delmas. I really liked what he brought to the defense especially if he can stay healthy. At the right price I bring back Delmas and continue to work in Walt at Safety. I don't feel our secondary is a big problem. More worried about the opposite side of Grimes. I really concerned with the interior of our line and linebackers and the interior of our offensive line.

Antrel Rolle will be available...could use his leadership on this team.

Keep Delmas. He plays hard not afraid to tackle. Injury bug concerns me but I really liked him this year

I'm like a better look at Walt Aikens and Michael Thomas, who is also a FA. We need a coverage safety, not a box safety. Sergio Brown might be a cheap guy to compliment Reshad Jones. He played well when he had to come off the bench due to injuries. I dont think its a position we should be spending a lot of money on, so maybe look at our our roster or the draft.

FA options at CB and DT, and OG look good, fair at MLB, and bad at S.

Got to bring Michael Thomas back...I really like that kid.

I wonder if Walt Aikens showed enough for the coaches to give him a chance to start. I hope we go with 5 safeties next year...Jones, Aikens, Thomas, Don Jones and Delmas or some other free agent/late draft pick...so long as Jimmy Wilson is gone I'm good.

If they want to draft a coverage safety then their best bet is Holliman in the second round, if they miss out on Collins in the first round.

I would keep Michael Thomas even if he could not play safety, which he can. The guy is Great on special teams. Don't know what to think of Aikens but, Delmas looks to be our best option.

Delmas tore his ACL in December of 2014, how is he a viable option for August of 2015? He's not even under contract, and there's no way you sign a guy with that kind of injury to a contract when he likely wont be ready for the start of the new season. I doubt Delmas is a real option for us.
