Looks like Brandon Marshall will get off without punishment

Wow, his dropped passes are only rivaled by his dropped charges.

She wants him charged criminally because she wants to attack his checkbook in civil court, the standard of proof is higher in criminal than civil, if New York could prove the criminal charges she would then pretty much have a golden ticket. I understand Brandon Marshall isn't exactly Danny Wuerffel, but the facts that were released seemed peculiar. She was there for her birthday (in all likelihood intoxicated) and she didn't file a report until she found out a professional athlete with a large contract was there that night. In the end he's no longer here, so it's not a big deal to us anymore.

Or maybe she doesn't like getting hit by 6'4 220 pound men.

New York police are likely to wrap up their investigation this week into a March nightclub incident in which Chicago Bears receiver Brandon Marshall is alleged to have punched a woman in the face, NFL sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Police have struggled to find evidence against Marshall, according to sources, and it's likely there will be no charges filed and the case will be closed.

Ok, I've been as critical of Marshall as most, but really...what a title... "looks like he will get off without punishment" is kinda harsh considering what is out there about this incident...I mean Marshall says the video evidence will exonerate him. If so, what's wrong with that ?? He was a problem for us on the field, off the field and in the locker room, but why convict him just because he might have put himself in a bad spot, again. If he didn't do it, why should he get punished by the law. Now, the NFL may still deal with his consistent outside the venue issues because of his history...and that's fine too, but I would have worded this thread differently...
