personally i have mixed feelings on this if it would happen, first of all it probably mean we get rid of grigsby, i dunno for some reason i thought this guy could become a nice hustler from the bench, but with brommell in this system we know that he can generate pressure to the qb, so after looking at that, we should be happy if we sign him back

Here it is at the bottom of the page

i wouldn't count on us getting him. i could see him going to a lot of other teams before he comes back here, such as philly.

I personally hope he comes back. I never understood why he never made it as a situational pass rusher. He has a great motor.

BTW, looks like the Vikes scred up bug time by offering him a $14.5 million contract.

I hope he doesn't come back. He can get to the passer, but when he gets there he always gets a penalty for unnecessary roughness.

He doesn't always get a penalty. That is a very rare occurance. The man is perfect for what we do on 3rd downs. He excels at getting to the QB from the inside. And that is an absolute must for this team. JT is pretty much the only given we have as far as a pass rush. Without him, our pass rush is not very good. We do not consistently collapse the pocket. We need all the help we can get.

I heard about a week ago that Bowens and Chester were both starting to lose weight. And that's a very good thing. Hopefully they'll continue to do so, which also helps that pass rush.

I would sign Lo Bro to a veterans minimum contract ! You just cannot have enough good DE's on your roster in this league ....

I want to see Bromell back here...Grigsby hasn't done squat to impress me this Pre-Season. Maybe he is PS Material but not Fins 53 man roster. I say bring Lo Bro back.

Someone will pick up Lo Bro before he clears waivers even if it's a week or two to see what they're getting. I think to only way that we were geting him is if we traded for him and his contract is too high for us especially as a 5th DE

While we're at it, we could pick up Robert Baker too.....as he will be released today. ;)

GUess he didn't do too well in Minnesota...I wish him well and I hope someone claims him off waivers.

Yeah, as I mentioned in another thread. Coleman, Lamar Smith, Robert Baker, Richmond Webb, Lorenzo Bromell, maybe Kenny Mixon. It's over. I think all we need is maybe a veteran LT. I think we're set and there is no need to bring back players that we cut and who are now being cut by other teams.

Grisby got more sacks than Lo-Bro with crap playing time and was noticed on a team with great DE's. Lo-Bro was cut on a team with crap, except for unproven Kevin Williams.

Grisby sucks besides sacks he never got pressure and struggled at times getting dominated by the Tackles and Guards.

Prime Time once again you say a bunch of bull.

Grisby sucked by getting two sacks in a two drives? Grisby sucked by pressuring Johnson against the Falcons. When he got a chance he did his job.

I think he led the team in sacks, but I am not quite sure.

Another thing that you should never say or I will bash you to Tierra del Fuego. Last year Ogunleye was the leader in sacks in the pre-season. Don't say Grisby sucks without any proof or that pre-season doesn't matter for everything. DE's are the easiest position to prove in the pre-season. Whoever is able to do the job then usually turns out to do it in the season.

Plus Grisby is 6 years younger.

Although I doubt it would happen, this move can only make us better.....Hes a quick and strong 3rd down rusher....and i mean he didnt get cut for poor performance, he got cut for not getting along with his coach...which means he's still got it in him.
