Bengals | Could face Pittsburgh to open 2006 season

Mark Curnutte, of the Cincinnati Enquirer, reports the Cincinnati Bengals might be the season-opening opponent for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The NFL has already announced Pittsburgh will host the Thursday, Sept. 7, game at Heinz Field, but an opponent has yet to be announced. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Tuesday, Feb. 14, that the NFL likely will try to match Pittsburgh with the most attractive opponent on their home schedule - the Bengals or the Denver Broncos.

I just am looking forward to beating the SB Champs Steelers....doesn't matter to me when we play them but a season opening Thursday would work for me.
