I said for weeks i would love Duke Robinson at # 25 ..i really like his frame and love what he could bring to this team, with that said what r the chances that either Alex Mack, Max Unger or Eric Wood are taken with that pick at 25? I would hope we would be smart enough to address either the guard spot ot center spot before we draft a Wr...

What do you base the title of your thread on? The team still has to address other needs i.e OLB, ILB, CB and WR

I base it on the fatc this needs still needs a guard and center...

We have Smiley, Brown and Satele for guard.
Draft a center or pay an arm or leg for Brown.
it helps out both. i truly hope we dont get a guard early, its a waste.

We have Berger OG/C for depth. I don't think they would have brought him over if they were spending a 1st on a C/OG.

Why would a guy who has never started make you think that a pos that was a major need, no longer needs to be adressed.

Are You Kidding Me???

We resigned Carey and brought in Berger to compete for the much maligned center position. We just picked Long last year with the first pick in the entire draft. We have two talented starting guards who are expected to fully recover from their injuries. We have 2 backups who gained valuable game experience last year. We might lose our starting CB from a year ago and our other starting corner back will be a free-agent next year. We need a top veteran or rookie WR to add firepower to our passing game.

And you figure we're going to pick a OL with pick #25.

Are You Kidding Me???

Try CB, WR, CB, ILB, DL

No he isnt, but i hope you are. We have NO C. We couldnt run the ball and rely on a stupid gimmick offense. we better go for offense.

one thing is parcells does not draft o line in the early rounds not happening

We may very well draft a C/OG, but your insisting it is with the 1st pick.

None of the prospects are that great of a pure center and the top three are pretty close in value.

Unger may actually go first because of his versatility, although I think Mack and Wood are better pure centers.

The Dolphins don't need to reach into the 1st round for a C prospect or OG prospect.

It is unusual for a C to be taken in the 1st round, and if one is taken it has usually been at the very backend of the round.

The desperate Steelers may go there, or the Pick rich Cardinals(after a Boldin trade)but the Dolphins aint goin there.
