Looks like Stevie is out this weekend due to the passing of his mother.

Always hate to read stuff like this around the holidays...
 
Horrible. Lost my dad unexpectedly just a few year's back at this time- just before my birthday an xmas. It's never a good time to lose a parent but leaves such an empty feeling when it happens around the holiday's.
 
Condolences, thoughts, and prayers to Stevie and his family. This must be especially hard for the family during the holidays. I lost an uncle 2 years ago right after Xmas and let me tell you, it really puts a bit of a damper on the holiday spirit. Hopefully Stevie and their family take solace in all the good times they got to spend with her.
 
Wow. How terrible. I wish him the best. I see 23 posts in this thread and not one saying anything ridiculous as if life outside of football doesn't matter. It's little things like this that make me appreciate Finheaven. The Gang Green forum would've turned ugly quickly. Then again, they are Jests fans.
 
My condolences to Stevie and his family. It's a shame to have to endure this, rest in peace Mrs. Johnson.
 
Pretty awful to lose a close family member, especially this time of year.

All the best to Stevie and his family. That is a tough thing to process any time of year, but the holidays make it more difficult even. Stevie seems like a good man too.
