Looks like we have a power back! Go Daniel Thomas!

DT did play very well today. Hopefully the first of many good games for the young man. He was one of the very few bright spots from today's game.

Wasn't able to play the first game of his career due to injury. Who cares that he can run the ball... Bust!

I didnt see the game, my son had a game the same time......good to read he played well, now hopefully we will stop running Bush bwt the tackles and get him in space more.....

I didn't like the draft pick, but he did look good today. O line deserves some credit too they were opening some good holes for him.

He definitely has the power to run between the tackles. Doesn't have that extra gear to break the home run but that is what Bush is for. I really think at some point in the season they need to get some thunder and lighting going. They were still trying to run Bush between the tackles and that just ain't going to work.

Guys....I thhink the staff wanted to see DT take a full load to see how he responded....however, I also think they've lost some love for Reggie Bush.

There were a few holes there where Bush started juking and hopping around for no reason....if he would have gone north-south like DT he would have picked up good yards...plus he is so easy to tackle. My observation on Reggie (and I know this board loves his hard work): he is terribly overrated and not a true threat. Defensive coordinators are not game planning for this guy at all - he's just not a difference maker.

So true, it was cool to see Garner shifting around getting in on the action.

I don't think what the staff wanted had anything to do with today. Thomas was simply the hot hand, it was obvious from his first couple of runs, so why would you go away from it?

There's Ireland's 1 productive player from this draft class. That's about what he averages every year.

Too bad the guy in your avatar is one game away from joining the rest of the busts on this team. Sean Smith sucks.

I like the guy too but the offense was worse with him in than Bush in. We need a HC that can work the two styles together in success. Last week all Bush we had a weakness. This week they went with Thomas and we had a weakness.
