I was at Heinz field last night for a concert and you wouldn't believe how many "fans" are starting to turn on big Ben already. Unbelievable, I guess we're not the only ones who b**** about our QB. Personally I think whichever QB is not gonna make the costly mistakes should be our QB. Whether it be Gus, AJ, Sage, or (insert your new fav backup QB on another roster here). I believe we can win with our running game and Defense and our receivers and tight end should be good enough if the ball gets to them and not to the defenders for a quick TD. So here's to winning game 1 against the Broncos and after the bye it's time for the Ricky and Ronnie show.

And to any Steeler fans that might be looking over the shoulder of their Dolphin buddy on this site - you can have your choice (oh what the hell) take all 3 of our QB's for Big Ben if you're unhappy.

Oh please, i'm sure there are no riots in Pittsburgh because Roethlisberger has struggled in limited playing time in pre-season. Anyone who complains about him, is an idiot....He's going to turn out to be a very good QB.

That's funny -- why would Steelers fans complain about our QB? I'd think they'd love who we're starting and would want to complain about say Peyton Manning or Tom Brady. :goof:

Did you even read the thread? Who said anything about Steeler fans complaing about our QB? Anyway, I was just trying to make a point that regardless of who starts as our QB there's gonna be those who will always think that someone else can do better and that it's not just not our team either. So even though there are numerous numerous threads that start cut Feely, Start Sage, Gus sucks - there are a lot of positve threads that can and are written about our improved Oline, Offensive scheme, unpredictable Defense, WR depth (they just seem to get lost with all the negativity) - Hell we haven't even played a game that means anything yet.

What part of :goof: didn't you understand? :shakeno: Way to make yourself look foolish.

I was riffing on your thread title, which absolutely begged for that treatment.

There is some mild concern here, but noone is calling for Maddox back just yet.

??? ...:yell: ... ...

On our Pro Footballpickem's league Bills fans are second quessing losman..some think getting rid of Bledsoe was premature now..All I have been saying to them is it wasn't all Bledsoe it was their O-line too.Losman could of learned alot from Drew....Don't worry were not alone with QB worries.

I could see Big Ben struggling a bit this year as he did late last season and into the playoffs. Still, there's no question that he is and should be the man on that team for years to come. Any young QB is gonna have some growing pains though. Well, unless he's Marino I guess.
