How does Booker fare against Warrick Dunn (Reasonably good NFL Career) and Travis Minor (poor NFL Career). What sets Booker apart from these 2 former Nole RB's who are in his same mold???

At the end of the season, I'll be able to better answer this question. As of right now, they're both better than LB NFL wise.

As long as he is better than Sammie Smith!!!!

As a former FSU graduate and fan, I have studied all three. Here's my take:

- Dunn: Very quick; very explosive; great vision; favors the inside run vs. outside and excells at it with exceptional toughness for a small back, trading more positive short yardage runs for potentially longer runs to the outside.

- Minor: Quick; explosive; can run in and outside with equal adeptness; good vision; good all around back with no exceptional attributes to put him at that next level

- Booker: Very quick; very explosive; very good vision; favors the outside run vs. inside, risking the negative play in favor of persuing the homerun play

Neither Dunn nor Minor had Bobbys son calling plays........

Minor: mediocre quickness, mediocre pass catching ability, no blocking skills. Dunn: Tough quick runner reminds me of James Brooks Booker: Rookie, unknown. I think a GM should have an iron rule, no FSU running backs, No FSU receivers, No FSU QB's. Hopefully Dunn and Booker are the execptions to that rule.

AND NO GATOR QB's!!!!

I been in florida long enough to watch all three play.

1. Dunn- Average-good player in the nfl. Very undersized, fast and inconsistent. Relies more on his quickness and speed than his vision. Able to make defenders miss but not when facing a good defense he is shut down easily.

2. Minor. Average player in the nfl, only good as a back up. Average Explosiveness, average all around.

3. Booker, great explosiveness, good top speed, very agile. Relies on vision more than top speed. The weight issue is getting overated already. He needs to gain weight but that isn't an issue in my opinion.

Javon Walker, Anquan Boldin....and not to mention everyones beloved PK Sam, oh and Laverneous (sp?) Coles

All of you guys need to stop overating him he is good but not as great as you all make him seem. For example someone I'm not sure started a thread saying that Booker as a starting RB. Its like Ronnie just disapeared, I always say Ronnie Brown is underated and it looks like he is even underated here too. I'm not saying Booker is bad, but I'm not saying he is as good as you guys make him seem. I bet if the fins didn't even draft him no one would even mention FSU RBs in general. When he is being talked about you guys make him seem like the NFLs MVP or something. He doesn't have any expeirence in the NFL yet so lets not get to excited and start comparing him to and Ronnie Brown because right now they are better then him and most likley they will stay better then him. Booker is a good back and actually might be better then Dunn but not better then Ronnie and will never be better then Ronnie.

Peter Warrick, Sammy Smith, Dexter Carter, Amp Lee, EG Green,Greg Jones, Tamarick Vanover, Eric Shelton, Willie Reid.

All of those players were taken in the 3rd round or earlier and going into the QB class from FSU is like a GM going to see Hostel....

Now Edgar Bennet, "Bar none" Floyd and Brad Johnson did all stand out...
