Lorenzo Diamond

What a difficult past. It often seems that proffessional athletes who have faced the worst growing up appreciate what they have. I'm betting Diamond excels this year and stays a class act through his career.

And if he is as consistent in the regular season as he is in the preseason, than Gus is going to have a breeze this year with all the options to pass to: Diamond, McMichael, Boston, Booker, Brown, Williams, or Chambers. :D

I also love what this guy has brought to our team. who knew a TE could run block, catch the ball, and not need media attention. I think he will make a great #2 behind McMike

Diamond sure does have alot of class, and i respect him alot for that. I can't wait to see him on the field with McMike in the season opener.

Now that's a story.

Zo is the perfect example of the type of player Saban wants to bring on this team. This guy came from a life where the odds were heavily against him and he persevered. Saban wants mentally tough players who will keep fighting when times are tough. Zo is hungry and plays like it.

Whew.......... Helluva story!!! A lot of players in the NFL could learn a lot from guys like Diamond. It Seems that WAAAAAAY too many players are/have taken their NFL live's and Milions upon Millions of dollars for granted, and you can even see it in their play at times. It's so good to see story's about guys like this who had to go through it all just to barely make it, and you just know they're gonna continue to work hard and be greatful for what they have

What an impressive person and what a great success story. Our personnel choices have certainly gotten better under Saban. Imagine picking this kid off the scrap heap where he languished for two years, totally under the NFL radar, and then developing him in to what looks to be a huge part of our offense. I love it.

Great story and God willing, he will succeed. Thankful he's on our team...:)

I know I will probably get flammed so bad for this that I will need medical attention but...........I hope he does so well this year that we don't have to resign McMike. Hopefully Diamond will turn out to be as good as McMichael without all the off-field and on-field antics.

Yes, I have lost some respect for McMichael this offseason.

Good read! I hope he as a great year as a blocker, receiver and a
person :)
