I make my own opinions, and the only thing JP didnt do well in his 1st start was go 2-8 to start.
JP said yesterday, His throws were a little off, even though a few of the passes were dropped, I expect to throw the ball better.
If any Bills fan was looking for stats, then maybe he started badly. I was looking for his reads and how fast the ball came out. If he makes the right reads and gets the ball out quick, his talent will take over.
Going 0-20 doesnt mean he played bad. Look at "Short Bus" Gus' only TD. He floated the ball right over the intended WR, and another WR made a great catch.
JP didnt throw the ball into the hands of a defender, He didnt Hold onto the ball, and he didnt drop back and then tyake off.
He show good pocket awareness, quick smart reads, and a lightning fast release. So Far he does look like a young Brett Favre. He will calm down over time and hopefully he developes into the Older Brett Favre or better.
