Loss, Not Daunte's Fault!!!

First off, let me say is was a good game, we almost had it. When i started reading that crap people posted last night, i almost decided not to come back to these threads. It's good to see today some positive reinforcment. Yea, i was disappointed at the loss, but i think in a lot of ways it will help our team this year. Now that they've been in a situation with the game in their hands, and the taste of defeat, they'll know exactly how it feels and will be more prepared. Back to the thread title. I think the O-line is getting off lightly here. Aside from the break down in the secondary on the Miller play, if i was going to blame anyone for the loss, it would have to be the front five. Sure they played well at times, but Culpepper was rushed almost every play. It's amazing he didn't have more INT's. As for run blocking.......Barry Sanders couldn't have run much better with the horrible blocking. I'm an opptimist, and i think they'll start to mesh over the next couple of games. This is a great team, and those missing pieces will come to together in time. If your sad with what happened, just remember Deion Branch looks like he'll be holding out, and Tom Brady can't pass to himself. It's gonna be a great season!!

yeah it wasn't daunte's fault, i think it was play calling when we were winning in the fourth, and the secundary of course

agree, this is not even close to daunte's fault, daunte and wes welker kept the dolphins in the game, it looked to me daunte was fatigued, this is his first whole game since the injury

we will get better, ronnie will have a good game next week and the defense will be a lot sharper

Winning and Losing are Team Efforts. The Only reason people blame Daunte is because he is the QuarterBack.

Remember last year when P. Manning lost that playoff game and he blammed the O-Line and got all the crap its gonna happen every game its always the leaders fault.
