hey at least we're 1-1, i think only 5 or 6 teams in the league are 2-0. Our whole division is tied (cept we are 0-1 div) and at least we're not 0-2. just trying to be optimistic ;) cheer up guys

Exactly!! Alot of people are going to start freaking out and begin to panic after 2 games. The offensive is still learning and so is the defense, but at least the defense is playing awesome. Give it some time people and you'll see Miami's offense come around and win some more ball games.

the mistakes just killed us and we must learn to play well on the road

Take it Easy

I think that we have a long seasonm ahead of us, with a lot of games against top teams. I am not concerned in the least about our record. Hey, no one here is predicting a division title. Lets let them play, work out things, they win 6 games great, they win 4 that's ok too.

Enjoy the process as well as the outcome.

Only one concern, was it me, or were they playing a lot of short passes that seemed to really get them no where? I would have liked to have seen them take a few more stabs down the filed, like that shot to Boston in the third quarter.

We had a chance to win that game, and we beat ourselves more than the Jets beat us. It will be a different story once Ricky returns. We need Ricky, and I'm sure once he comes back, our offense will open up more....

One loss = one loss. At least we didn't get blown out 41-14 like 2004....

PHINZ RULE!!!

Did any of you see the Panthers/Patriots game? We could not afford a lost in our divison and go up against the panthers!

After one week all you homers had the Dolphins going to the SB. After two weeks and a 1-1 record, the thuds from all of you jumping off the bandwagons is deafening.

This team is rebuilding, a 6-10 record will be OK, an 8-8 record will be a reach. All you knuckleheads thinking this is a SB contender are in for a huge letdown. The Dolphins, in 2005, are NOT a playoff caliber team no matter how badly you want it. Two years from now, look out NFL.

It's a long season, Ricky's comin back in 2 more games, and we're tied for 1st place. If we can be 2-2 when Ricky comes back will be right in the race to the end.

Once Ricky is back your going to see a completley different team. This adds a whole nother dimension to our football team. Hes fresh, one year of rest, and hes ready to go. That takes pressure off Ronnie, look for him to get better. It opens up our passing game, teams will now have to focus on how to contain RW. Were are going to be SO much better with him. I wouldent be surprised if came out and looked better than he did in 2003, I really wouldent. Im licking my chops to see RW back in a Miami uni and us become contenders again because mark my words, we will.

There is no such thing as an acceptable loss. There are only 16 games and any loss can be enough to elliminate you from the playoffs or take away home advantage. This was a division opponent making it one of the most important games we will play. If Miami is to be a successful team, these are the kinds of games they MUST win.

The only way a loss can be considered unimportant is if you have low expectations of the team and believe that any win is an over-achievement.

This loss wasn't like last years losses where the phins were outcoached, out hustled, and outplayed. The phins were just outplayed. They didn't execute. I can live with that as long as they improve from game to game. I think they will. It doesn't matter what their records are (jets and phins) they always play eachother tough. Here's to looking to next week.

This loss was because of poor execution. Missed field goal, dropped passes, too many pre-snap penalties, all of these things are correctable. We will get better. Just have to give credit to the Jets...they played better than we did and deserved to win. It's that simple. It's a lot easier to take a loss when you get beat by the other team who played better...compared to last year when we were giving up Pick 6's to lose.

I agree with everything you said except for us showing improvement from game to game. We took a step backword in execution from the Broncos game against the Jets. If they show improvement from game to game I will be thrilled, but this was not one of those games.
