It'll come down to fit and price. The draft is not great as far as pass rushers this year so we'll see if they go for a free agent or not. Those guys will cost a lot of money tho.

I admit I'm high on Hendrickson but that's in large part due to he played an hour from me at FAU and I watched him live here and there.

Also, I think the Saints underplayed him, some due to him developing and other part due to wanting Davenport to get snaps due to draft positions(and picks to acquire him).

Once they finally played Trey more he exploded in production.

Seems that way too. With Russeau being more of a high ceiling guy, and expected to refine in the nfl specially. With that said, there are prospects we can draft in the 2nd, and the 3rd round. Preferably the 2nd round picks would be better suited for a wide receiver, and a center.

like i said in another thread. you spend on pass rusher in todays league before wr and rb. i think thats what should be done and build skill through the draft. i dont think any edge guy is worth the 18 imo. that said there are some good ones to be had in the 2nd. but this draft is a really good class with our needs

As far as Free Agents, who fits best for our defensive scheme? It would seem like a larger body to play end may be better but I’m certainly no expert. I would say Trey Hendrickson in the most interesting player because of age/expected price

I agree to spend on a pass rusher but it has to make sense. You want to pay for real production.

That's the player I'd go after. Wonder if Miami could fit him and Golladay?

Hendrickson and Samuel would work.
