Lots of hate, why isnt it pointed at the right people?

Not when he makes 3 or 4 amazing plays to make up for the occasional missed play.

Marshall was similar in Denver. He would have 5-6 plays that would make your jaw drop, then would drop a easy play that left you scratching your head. This year Marshall looks like he did in Denver. He is simply bigger, faster, and stronger then opposing defensive backs. 2 games in a row now he has carried defenders while making a huge play. This week he simply pushed backwards a defender(and its so delicious that is was Jason Allen) 5 yards into the endzone as if he was a mere inconvience.

Marshall is very much an elite wideout. It would be nice if he caught every single pass and made every single route every single game, but its beyond arguing that he doesn't make up for a screw up every now and then.
If the choices are having an elite wideout who breaks games open but misses on a play or two, and having no elite wideout: i know what ill be picking.

So why do these guys get a free pass? These are our stars and they blow it a time or two every game.

Credibility......gone!

Brandon Marshall sucks, priceless. The guy makes catches that only Calvin Johnson could probably make over defenders.
Vonte got burned a lot? How many yards did Johnson have? Most of that on one throw that Vonte had him covered great and it was just a perfect pass. Couldn't have covered him any better and he's prob the top producing receiver in the league.
 
This guy is bashing the best player on our offense after 2 very good games, and then brings up Ted Ginn. Some people's children.
 
The Dolphins seem to specialize in bringing in guys who don't play to their lofty reputation - first Marshall, then Bush.
 
The reason Bush didn't play to his lofty reputation is that he was not playing at all. And this one is on the coaching staff. I am still scratching my head why they didn't play him...
 
Marshall is the best WR this team has had in a long time. I think he is going to have a big year. Ted Ginn couldn't shine his shoes. Right now Marshall is one of the few things we fans should be happy about.

Be fair - Ted Ginn can't even shine MY shoes (as a receiver). As far as best WR goes, I take Bess.

You guys are illiterate. Im asking why these guys dont get called out for their constant mistakes. You call out everyone elses. What is it with these guys that theey get passes. Why does it not matter that he dropped an easy TD? Why does Davis get a pass for getting burnt at least every game and spends the big plays on the sideline? Im not saying that either of them suck, but when in Fin Heaven act like them, EVERYONE SUCKS!!!

Because they constantly make up for it. End of story.

Marshall drops a touchdown, he then carries a defender into the endzone. Ted Ginn would drop a pass...then drop another, then drop a third and the players on the sideline would start cursing, then he would drop another one right into the hands of Darren Sharper who would (not) return it for a touchdown.

In summary, its a coaching issue. None of these guys look like they are prepared to play. I stated this on an earlier thread. Sparano is in over his head. Plenty of talent on the team, they just don't play as a team.
Sparano has no answers

It is the responsibility of the coach to get the team prepared
it is the responsibility of the GM to bring in players that can win and be coached.

We knew what we were getting into with marshall
Marshall was stabbed in the off-season this alone could cause his mental preparation to be off.
Davis i dont know he missing a lot of time though andre johnson maybe the best receiver in the nfl..
Carrol shouldn't even be in coverage where was will allen?
Why didn't we go after ashmoouga in free agency?

Blame is placed appropriately at the coach and gm 1st for putting this crap together.
Sure you can call out the players if you want heck that's the coaches job as well
he needs to light a fire under their ***
Tony is too worried about hurting their feelings
then getting the most production out of them..
 
I'm on the OP's side on this one regarding Marshall. If you're playing one of the best teams in the league, you need your best players to come up big. Dropping what should be a standard catch for an elite receiver is not coming up big. He dropped another quick pass in the end zone last week that would've been big. Getting 7 instead of 3 is a huge difference in momentum and we need to capitalize on every opportunity we can get and that means Marshall delivering where it counts and that's the red zone. There seems to be a significant drop off in his production when we get inside of the 20.
 
The one person that deserves most of the blame is Wayne Huizenga. He took a once proud franchise and ran it into the ground with a series of crappy hirings, including his last one of Parcells.
