I posted this on another thread but either guys thought I was being a smart ***, or it just got over-looked. So I'll ask it here.

McMichaels has been cut, Welker has been traded, Rumors have Booker on the trading block and Chambers is clearly on the bubble and it seems half of you are over him anyway.

That is about 85% of the Fins catches, isn't it?

Here are my questions:
Where do you all see the recieving yards coming from if Booker and/or Chambers are gone?
Who would you like to see the Fins make a run at?
And, how do you see the QB situation affecting the drafting/signing of a #1WR? (Assuming Chambers is no longer your #1)

In a good offensive system, mediocre WR play can be masked. Look at San Diego last year. Chambers, despite what you hear on this board, should be ok, and who on SD's squad last year is better then Chambers? Booker, while not elite, puts up solid numbers. Hagan showed he can get open consistently, it's his hands (as well as all the hands on our team, wtf? New WR coach?) that are the problem. We'll see. The tight end worries me a bit, from what I hear Martin is good, just needs to stay healthy.

WR is an overrated position. Get the right system in place, our receivers/TE shall shine.

I'm hoping that Derek Hagan is going to step up bigtime this year. He broke a lot of PAC-10 records with Arizona State I hear. Hopefully, he can be super consistent catching the ball and getting open this year. He's had some problems with drops.

Hopefully, Derek's been working his butt off in the offseason and he can catch anything within 10 feet of him like you see on the Calvin Johnson highlight films on YouTube. I know that you Bucs fans are drooling bigtime about maybe getting Calvin. I'm sure Gruden might pee his pants if he gets him. I would too. He's going to be one of the best we've seen in years probably. :D

exactly !! couldnt have said it better.

were not losing Randy, welker, Booker, AND Chambers......

We'll be throwing to Ronnie a whole lot more.... Chambers is a solid #1 when given the oppurtunity... Hagan is promising as a #2.... Booker is a very good #2 if he stays.... we have more than enough weapons for cams system.... Trent Greens never had a weapon like Chambers.

I agree...Good post (but get ready to be destroyed by haters). Chambers is better than any reciever on the chargers roster right now and Hagans hands can be fixed. I dont think WR is an overrated position. In most cases you need a strong passing game in order to have a quick striking high powered offense like Indy, St. Louis, and Philly. Yes, they have a good running game, but they are pass 1st teams

Chambers is a solid #1 when given the oppurtunity.

#1 at what?

Seriously, unless cam is planning on spraying his jersey down with superglue, chambers wont be catching anything.

I cant believe the guy made it this far without using his hands....

Number 1 at dropping passes buddy :D

So the rumored 'yanking' of Chambers from the first team practice doesn't concern you?

Also, not to be a downer here but, the Chargers have the most dominant RB in the league and one of the most dominant TEs. Those two players require so much attention it would be harder to figure out a way to stay covered as a WR on that team, than to just go ahead and get open.

Are you that confident that Brown will be able to take that much pressure off the WRs?

I've got to tell you, I get chills everytime I think about lining up with Galloway on one side and Calvin Johnson on the other.

Unfortunately, I don't see CJ falling to #4 and I doubt even more that we will sell our entire first day to the Lions to get him.

I'm hoping Hagan and a draftee are the two WRs who step up. maybe that rookie will be the great Mike Walker, the next Colston

Ronnie is real good on some of those short and medium routes. One of his best is a wheel route. I wouldn't underestimate Ronnie's receiving ability at all. He caught the ball well in college. He played left field in high school baseball and was drafted by the Seattle Mariners, so he's got the hand-eye coordination and all that. With Ronnie's 232 lbs. of size and 4.4 speed, he's a load for smaller DBs to bring down in the open field ... like Calvin Johnson with his 239 lbs. of size and 4.35 speed.

Chambers is not on the bubble. Though Booker is. I hope to see Ginn Jr, Meachem, or Rice being thrown to.

5 months before the season you think we should be worried that Cam wanted to tell Chambers to get his **** together?

C'mon man why freak out about that? It's mini camp for crissakes
