Louis Delmas Feels Good - Article

Contrary to what you hear around here hes pretty dang good when healthy and the problem is his health

The reason he is injured so much is not so much he is injury prone, as it's he plays the game all out, and will use his body to stop the man with the ball, with the big hit.

Word out of camp was they have been trying to hold him up a bit, because he is all over the field, and has no trouble throwing his body for the stop.

If we can through pre-season without any serious injuries, the team the Patriot will be seeing in Miami on opening day will be fun to watch.....if your a Dolphins fan. :)

please Lord, keep him healthy...can you imagine him and Reshad starting? Who, in their right mind, will dare get their neck snapped around them???

Considering the size of his red flag I will be pleasantly surprised if he makes it to training camp healthy

LOL...I predict there is a good chance, many receivers will be hearing footsteps this year when playing the Dolphins.

i remember when he was in the draft and MIKE MAYOCK had a serious bone for him.

said he was one of the hardest hitting safety's he had ever seen. i remember going on and on about him during the combine.

and yeah, if he stays healthy, this is a great addition to our secondary that really needs some toughness and leadership.

Delmas should bring much needed swagger to the Dolphins D

"I expect for opposing receivers to lose even more sleep this year. Delmas, a Western Michigan product and South Florida native, has had issues staying healthy as he as only played in 16 games once in his 5 year career, but he has a clean bill of health now. His knees are feeling good and he’s excited about it. Delmas said Monday that he haven’t missed a day of training or, practice and that he is feeling the best he’s felt in his last four years of football. "

Instead we will see 50-60 yard bombs over them. We have 2 safeties who play extremely aggressive and may get burned constantly.

The man plays at ludicrous speed (Spaceballs reference) all the time.
:)

I hope he can stay healthy. This guy brings a ton of passion to the game and lays it down with the boom stick. WRs will definitely have to think twice if a healthy Delmas is ouit there!

A lot of potential on D this year (in the passing game anyway). Jones could bounce back/break out. Finnegan could bounce back. One or both of the rookies could break out. Could have an elite secondary and if Jordan and Wake beast we could create a ton of turnovers.
