I agree with miamimike. If you're a fan, you should act like on. These guys may not be the '72 team, but their still in the aqua & orange. Granted, some do seem un-motivated this year, but Zack & JT are still going hard. I'll always love this team and pull for them-win, lose, or draw. So, if you ARE a true fan, lay off, and start giving them support and not put downs and gripes. If Saban needs to go, he will. If not, we should support him too. None of us really knows what goes on in the locker room,practices, or in the front office. If you don't love 'em, find another site.:fire: :fire: :fire:

A true fan supports the team....but he or she doesn't have to be a mute. When your 1-6....you get what you deserve....and if thats flack...so be it.
If the players can't stand the heat....get out of the game.
 
Nonsense. Why is it so hard for some of you to understand that being a fan and supporting the team isn't the same thing as putting your fingers in your ears and screaming "everything's going to be ok" over and over again? Really, why is everyone so hellbent that we all embrace underachievement and mediocrity? Maybe if we all join hands and break into a few rounds of kumbaya the team will suddenly turn it around! Please.

I am a die hard fan of this team, and they are failing in every way imaginable. I refuse to pretend that there aren't major problems here, and if I feel like sharing that with others, that is my right.

I do recognize the faults and down falls of the team. I admit when they play lousy, but what good does the bashing do? I am a true fan, always have been, always will be, but I still will defend the guys and not kick them when their down. :tantrum: :shakeno:

Blah, blah, blah... no true fan criticizes the team.
Blah, blah, blah... no true fan bashes the team, no matter how bad they suck.
Blah, blah, blah... a true fan supports everything the team does.
Blah, blah, blah... no true fan ever says anything that reminds us how bad we suck.

Why don't you come back when someone proclaims you the arbiter of what it means to be a fan?

I have been a fan of the team for longer than most of the people on here have been alive. I don't need you or anybody telling me I'm not a fan or that I can't criticize the team. I will criticize the team when I want to and praise them when I want to. My loyalty is to the team, not to the coach who hasn't won anything, or the players (especially the veterans) who haven't been to the playoffs since 2001. If and when the current team turns it around, then they will be praised. Until then, they deserve all of the bashing they get.
 
There's a big difference between critizing & bashing. I've also been a fan for many years (35 to be exact) I do get angry, I do critize, but when it comes to name calling and cursing, what's the point? It doesn't help the team or the fans. Yes, you have rights as a fan, but so do I.
 
I support my Fins win or lose, I may get angry with them, and I may let loose some of that anger here which is the only place I know that I can, but that doesn't make me any less of a fan. In fact it seems to me that shows I am a fan don't you think?
 
I have been a Dolphin's fan since 1971....and the Dolphins will be my team until I die, BUT, I think fans have every right to be critical of the team. We don't criticize the team because we question our loyalty for the aqua and orange, but because we love our Phins and we hate seeing them playing like crap, and making horrible player moves (draft, FA's, trades, etc.), along with bringing in coaches who make terrible decisions.

GO PHINS :dolphins:

I'll be wearing my Phin's jersey proudly when we take on the Bears.

Can't stand alittle hard time....LOL....It was hard in 1968....I believe the Dolphins had 3 wins, that season. I was a fan before Shula....Marino....Jimmy...and Saban....and GOD willing....I'll be here when Saban is long gone and past history.

I can stand it....be sure of that....but I don't have to like it...or be a mute...to be a fan.

Well, if people listened when there mom said 'if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything' the net would be a very quiet and lonely place.

You will always have whiners, people who inexplicably have the absolute opposite opinion even when presented with facts against their stance. It's mind boggling, but it's the norm on the net.

I have hope in the fins and believe Saban needs more than a 1 1/2 to recover from Dave's reign and I'm labeled an 'apologist', lol.
