Love Our Fire Today!!!

What a different team we looked like today. It was great to see our team flying around playing with emotion. I think a performance like this is a long time coming and hopefully we continue to play like the way we are capable of. But how nice was it to see our team's heart for once this season, we finally had a soul today. I guess maybe we should thank Kuechenberg and the other alumni for their criticism; it really seemed to fire our team up.

I want to point out something about the o line that I hope people saw. These guys were playing mean today. Which is the way you need to play as an o lineman. Did you see Rex Hadnot come flying in the pile and knocking guys off his teammate, the one he got a penalty on? I love plays like that and will take agressive penalties any day of the week. Penalties like that are acceptable and really send a message to the other team and also your teammates. I love when O lineman are there picking their guy off the ground or right there going into the opposing teams sideline to get their guy. I loved our whole team's attitude today but especially the o lines. Congrats on a great game guys.

They played really well today. Kudos to Ronnie, he played awesome and against a very stout defense. Also our play-calling was better today. It was a more balanced attack, which is better then the 62 pass attempts in our last game. I just wished they would have played like this all year. We should have beat the Steelers, Texans, Bills, and Packers. We would be a 5-3 team nipping at New Englands heels. Tonight- GOOOOOOOO COOOOLLLLLLLTTTSS.

You're right man. I had a thread earlier this week mentioning how the fire from last year is just not there. Our guys wanted to win so bad last year and I just wasn't seeing that in 2006. Today, however, we saw a completely new team. Too bad it took them 9 weeks to figure it out, otherwise, we'd be a playoff team.

I too loved the fire, pride and intensity we played with today- a truly superb effort that everyone should be proud of. The thing that I found myself saying amidst my joy after the game was "Man, if only we played like this EVERY WEEK, we'd be right in the thick of things". But what a great win. I'm truly on cloud 10 today.
