I love Suh. Him and Anquan Boldin are my 2 non favourite fins, but when you look at his contract compared to other free agent DT's, I would have gone an alternative route.

Stephen Paea 4 years $21m
Terrance Knighton 1 year $4,450m
Henry Melton 1 year $3,750m
Nick Fairley 1 year $5m

When you consider we are paying Suh an avg. of $19m a year, we could have signed all of the above for a similar cap hit.

As I said I am a massive fan of Suh, but this annual event of signing the top Free agent is not breeding success.

I would rather have gone for someone like Orlando Franklin 5 years $35m. He would have fixed our OG issue and been an option at OT if or when, another overpriced FA in Brandon Albert gets injured.

I know this is not the popular statement but I feel its the right one....I hope im proved wrong

Thanks for your opinion but I have to say I disagree but despite our recent lack of winning I will let the people who run the team worry about if they were right or wrong. As a fan I hope it works out for the best and we don't regret it for a single day all the way to Canton.

I think when we look at numbers may not seem justified I will be looking at numbers of people around them if they go up I will be happy.

P.S I know Suh sig makes me look bias lol, but made it just because he was recent and I liked him in uniform.

yea we should have paid mediocre DT's over arguably the second best defensive player in football.

I actually Love the Suh move. What killed us last year at the end was not our offense as per usual but our defense, and SUH might just fix that problem.
Once in a generation DT you have to pay, I am not saying he is reggie white, but what if he is?

You should update your sig.

Not sure what your argument is. Are you saying we don't deserve one of the best dts in the league for that salary and we should havd settled for a cheaper inferior talent? Cam wake isn't getting younger. We are in win now mode

No one has a crystal ball...not even you.

For me...I'll take a young dominant, all-pro, future hall of famer....over keeping Odrick, Starks and .....(insert the name of any other average player that is not a game changer here).

On the other side, Odrick got $42M with $22M guaranteed. Player you mention got much less for assorted reasons. Odrick is a fair example as 27 and healthy. Is Suh worth twice as much? Yes

Hasn't even played a down yet for us. So.... I'm gonna need you to take it down a notch.... Thanks!!!

It's only a bad move if Suh ends up like Wallace in terms of attitude. We all know Suh is no Wallace. And if misi remains at mlb he will be much better than he already is.

Any cb that has to start opposite grimes will have an easier job in coverage. The only problem will be cap and missing in the draft.

this thinking is what has the franchise set back for quite some time now, thinking we can get 2 average players instead of 1 elite one, earl thomas between koa misi and jared odrick comes to mind here, everytime you can get an elite player at his position, you go for it...this is why i hope we go elite player in the draft, no more trade downs and aquire more picks bull****

Suh was a bold move. The Dolphins can and will make it work if Suh stays hungry and healthy.
