Darrin sproles is an unrestricted free agent.I would love to let rickey go and sign this explosive player.Sproles and ronnie would be great in the wildcat.This guy is also by far a better kick returner than anyone on the team now.I not sure if the chargers will let him go or not.Did we sign rickey to an extension?I hope not.
 
d sproles? i dout b.p and sparano will go for that. they said they want to get BIGGER,FASTER ,STRONGER.....
 
i would def take d sproles.. but i dont think BP will... he is too small.. sorry

Look,he might cost to much anyway but he is better than rickey or cobbs.He is a big play waiting to happen.Ask the colts 328 total yds plus 2 tds in the jan 3 playoff game.He had 91 rec yards and a td against the steelers in the divs round.I thought he should of been on the field more the entire season for the chargers but they did not want to take LT off of the field.He would vastly improve are special teams(unless everybody is happy with 19 yards and a cloud of dust ted ginn)and be the perfect complement to ronnie brown.
 
i wouldnt mind him if the price is right.... but i am fine with what we have right now too. Cobbs palyed great at times, and definitely last couple games of season.... then throw in the baltimore game, basically our only out right great player of the game.

theres a kid who played this past season here in BC in the CFL as well thats a player. he totally reminds me of Sproles. his name is Stephan Logan. I actually think Parcells cut him prior to last seasons main camp. same size, same explosion as Sproles. hes tiny, but he can play. I heard alot of NFL teams are giving him a look as well.
 
honestly too.... i think Parcells wants Cobbs to be our Sproles type palyer. not as fast and shifty, but quick, speedy, and good in the passing game. he is a bigger sproles, and thats where we might be going.

i wouldnt mind Sproles at all though still :)
 
I think the playoffs were a showcase for Sproles and will help inflate his price beyond what he might realistically be worth. He's a player who definitely has 'big play ability' but would be a risk for any team to invest a reasonable amount of money in. I wouldn't mind him on the Miami roster but I wouldn't like to see a lot of money spent on him, especially with so many other positions requiring upgrading much more than RB.
