17:59 PT: Len Pasquarelli reports for ESPN.com the Miami Dolphins have been allocated the lowest rookie pool allocation, $1.443 million to sign their five draft picks.

Don't get your knickers in a twist...it's just a reflection that you didn't have a draft choice until the third round, so therefore have fewer drafted players to sign.

I think the Bucs low allocation is a reflection of the same.

What I dont get is... those numbers look awfully low, across the board for ALL the teams. I mean with our allocation we are only able to pay the rookies an AVERAGE fo $280K/ea in their first year. Isn't the minimum significantly higher than that?? Like $480K or something... at least thats what I though.

Rookies in the later rounds typically will get 250K to 300K. McKinney and McMichael might get a little more if they get bigger contracts.
