LT out; Dolphins get a break

That's not a break.. I wish LT was playing.. Sproles is much more dangerous than LT is at this stage of their careers, especially on screens as the Chargers are a great screen team. LT has lost 2 steps and isn't nearly what he was. He is following the Shaun Alexander route.

Look at it this way. If we get beat by that midget Sproles, then I do not know what to think of the Dolphins.

We have been the laughing stock of the NFL for quite some time now.

Screens and swings will be tough to contain, because the LB's will have to watch Gates over the middle and in the seams. People can knock Sproles, but the dude is a playmaker. MIA will have to play a overall solid defensive game. They can't break down on assignments, because SD has players who can take it to the house.

Agreed. The real break would be if Sproles was out. He's like a little freakin ping pong ball out there!!

less to worry about? sproles is way more explosive then LT now. LT gettin old. we'd have a better chance at stoppin the run if LT was in

No LT Means More Bad News For Fins

As if an 0-2 start and a cross country flight on a short week wasn't bad enough, the San Diego injury report brought the worst possible news for the Dolphins.
LaDainian Tomlinson: Out.

Oh no! It's not often not facing a future Hall of Famer is a bad thing, but this is one of those instances. The Fins had to be secretly praying that LT's sprained ankle healed for Sunday's match up.

LT is probably the only person on the Chargers linebacker Channing Crowder could actually cover one-on-one and that's being generous to Crowder. And now we have to worry about safety Gibril Wilson trying to get Darren Sproles to the ground.

Advantage: San Diego. Huge advantage.

Coach Sparano should not take this news lying down. Maybe the Dolphins should send Ricky Williams to the Chargers training facility to do a little herbal healing on LT's sore right ankle and get him better by kick off.
Anything to get LT back on the field and keep the Chargers super dynamo off it.

Maybe Crowder has Sproles on his fantasy team.

If they cannot contain him, this is the final straw. I have just about had it with this BS the Dolphins have done these years.

As for Crowder, I will get Matt Light to kick his *** again.

Being in KS and specifically here in Manhattan, home of KSU. I have seen Sproles since he was a freshman. The guy for his stature can play the game. Is he better than MIA's lb's who will try to keep up w/ him in space, imo, yes. But MIA will have to do its best to mitigate that by getting to Rivers quick and often. I know on those swings it will be tough, but thats where the CB's will have to be physical tomorrow.

That doesn't mean jack ****. Honestly, we shouldn't be worrying about breaks, but more about just going out there and playing as hard as we can for 60 minutes. Defense this goes especially for you.

P.S. Sproles is a fast *word I can't use here*
