I know another Tannehill thread but let's look at the stats of both teams with lack of running game & OL plus Defense hasn't played well.

Tannehill: 6 TDs (1 rushing) 4 INTs (1 was on hailmary) 64% comp % per attempt 7.9 avg yards per game 297
Luck: 6 TDs 2 INTs 61% comp % per attempt 7.4 avg yards per game 304

Team Records: Both 1-2

Colts played: 1-2 Lions, 3-0 @ Broncos, 1-2 Chargers
Fins played: 2-1 @ Seattle, 3-0 @ NE, 0-3 Browns

I don't hear Colts fan begging to get rid of Luck. I know you will say been to playoffs which is true, however if you look at last year through 7 games Luck played 3-4 record with 12 INTs. Other argument is Tannehill had to pass all 2nd half vs Patriots, Colts had to do same vs Lions.

Im not saying that Tannehill is better than Luck but when you look at stats & teams it's comparable minus the Fins having to learn a new system. The Colts have had been better coached than the Fins in the Philbin era. Luck is the highest paid QB now I believe as well.

You CAN'T blame Tannehill for everything, this week he led a drive that got us up 24-13 the D needs to make a stop & kee momentum.

QB's are going to throw INTs & make bad throws, look last week at established QBs:
Cam - 3 INTS
Palmer - 4 INTS
Fitzpatrick - 6 INTS
Manning - 2 INTS
Bortles - 3 INTS
Flacco - 2 INTS

Luck hasn't had good coaching since Bruce Arians left town, and now he's being Philbin'ed on top of it.

Indy needs to clean house, but even that might not fix things, since they have a coked up moron cutting the checks and telling people how to spend 'em.

That's why he gets leeway from his fans and Tannehill doesn't. Plus he was the #1 overall pick so the media is never going to say anything bad about him unless his current trend continues for a longer period of time. But make no mistake...there are those in Indianapolis that probably want him traded...at the very least concerned with what they've seen in the last 1+ seasons.

Arians & Chud were better than Lazor & Sherman I'll give you Pep probably even. NOT to mention by far and away a better head coach.

When one QB takes a 2-14 team and leads them to an 11-5, 11-5, 11-5 record with a 3-3 playoff record including a 28 point second half comeback and the other has yet to lead his team to a winning record this topic shouldn't even be up for debate.

I think through the first three quarters of a game Tannehill is as good or better than Luck. I still think in the final five minutes of a game the Colts and their opponents feel like Luck will lead the big drive. I think Tannehill has improved to the point where his team is thinking "Tannehill can do this."

Luck has won his division multiple times, has had MVP level stats, consistently top rated and always has a bad oline and defense.

Stop attempting to compare tannehill to QBs who have accomplishments in the NFL. While tannnehill hasn't even had a top statistical season or a winning season. He's done NOTHING!

This needs to end.

Go to a non-dolphin forum and watch how everyone laughs at you when you start comparing him to players like Dalton, Newton, Rivers, Luck, and whatever other accomplished QBs you want to compare him to.

Ok, sounds like you know it's a bull**** excuse, I'm surprised you'd use it.

The difference is Luck has had equally bad teams, maybe even worse and he has been to the playoffs 3 times out of 4. His team was 1-15 the year before he was drafted and he went to the playoffs his rookie year. He can put the team on his back and dominate the game.

I like Tannehill, he is a good QB and he is tough as nails....but he isn't elite

As soon as you stop using team accomplishments to trash a single player.

And wtf is 'has had MVP level users'.....

I like Luck. I think he's a really good QB. That said, I don't think he's much better than Tannehill.
