Buccaneers released LT Luke Petitgout.

He was on the PUP list for all of training camp after struggling to rehab successfully from a torn ACL. It looks like Donald Penn will be the Bucs' starting left tackle this season

Could provide some excellent depth
 
I still take a chance on him, whats the worse he is on PUP till week 6. Atleast you have a solid backup Tackle.
 
He would'nt have been let go if he was healthy or anywhere near it

we have backups... if long goes down we put carey at left and ndukwe at right.. same if carey goes down... but carey and long have pretty good history of staying healthy so i dont think we have any worries
 
We need depth and if we sign him we wont have him till at least week 6. He better be cheap if they do. I think they will wait till cuts to add depth.
 
Nobody in Tampa was high on this guy from the get go. The guy can never stay healthy. Last time he played a whole seson or the majorty of it, i heard he led his o-line in penalties.
 
Just for Depth guys, The Oline is really Gelling and I love what I saw from Big Jake.
 
I say take a look at him. After our starters, we are pretty thin in quality backups on the line. Heck everywhere for that matter.
 
I would sign him and let him heal it out. Sign him to the Vet minimum and if he is healthy before the season great if not cut his ***.
 
we are rebuilding. don't need any old players.

well, unless they are a WR or pass rusher then we can take a stab at them
