Same! Imo, he doesn’t have the explosiveness. In college got away with it. Not so in the NFL!
Not to mention is not particularly big or strong either.

Sure, I just don't think he's very good.
A jack of all trades but master of none usually are scheme dependent and I don't think Bowden is talented enough and worth developing plays around just for him and that's what we would have to do to get him involved. Don't think he'll make it just as a WR.

Agreed. Not sold at all. I know he has only a few snaps under his belt, but he did nothing when he was in. I'm willing for him to get another look, but so far...meh!

Essentially no cost to see what he has. The qualifier is no idea what type player McD wants
He's a stiff. I'd be surprised if he sticks around more than this season.
We'll see. I know we hated the old coaches on offense but I'm sure if he was showing out in practice he would have been showing up on Sundays even for them. Now we have an amazing collection of mad scientists on offense so maybe they can help him take the next step.
Strongly believe Lynn Bowden doesn't even make this team.
We'll see, he will have his chance once again. The previous regime saw enough to stash him on IR to give him another shot. He seems to be a 'tweener to me. He's not quite big and fast enough for RB, but doesn't seem to have WR skill set either.I hope our new coach will find IT if he has it.

He seemed to actually get decent separation at times but not consistently just off his athletic ability.
I'm interested in whether Welker can teach him some better technique and fundamentals, because then we would have a really interesting player IMO.

Looking at SFs past opening day rosters, we may only carry 5 WRs in week 1. In an ideal world, Bowden would be competing for that 5th spot at best

Lynn Boden at most is a role player and he isn’t even there. Lets stop making players not accountable and blaming schemes.
Totally agree…the previous coaching was so bad that we shouldn’t write off any player that had potential!
I think he’s a very versatile player that could be a weapon in McDaniels scheme!

Not getting my hopes up that he becomes some big offensive star for us. I'll be impressed if he makes the team. He could do well as a role player and probably get us some plays here and there, just don't see him as a consistent threat.
