where the hell is clay? we need him. he creates mismatches.... wait i better stop, we all know this staff doest know how to utilize talent. anyway is he still hurt or what?

He played in the last game. Had one pass thrown his way. It was incomplete though.

Who ever said Clay was talented? He left alot to be desired in preseason and hasnt taken a snap (that I know of) in the regular season. I call another Miami draft bust.

After 3 games?

While I'm not going to label Clay a bust or possible weapon, it's pretty hard to evaluate him when he's on the bench 99% of the time. At some point in this season you are going to have to play him to find out if he's worth the hype we were fed regarding him.

7 If you include preseason. And for a rookie I think you almost have to include preseason because thats where rookies will get most of their work. He didnt do anything in all the 7 games he has appeared in. Eh, who knows, maybe it is because of the coaching, I mean look who were dealing with here.

here we go again.....Thomas was a bust according to many people on this board before he even played a game.....can we give Clay a chance to play at least 1 full game?

Ozzy rules!!

What's the fun in that? This board is all about opinions and opinions change. Go ahead and say whatever you feel at the time just be willing to eat crow when you are proven wrong. I have eaten a lot of crow in my time, but I still prefer saying what I think to sitting around and waiting. If I hate a draft pick I am going to say it. If it turns out I was wrong I don't care I hated it at the time. If this board were just all about facts it would not be any different then reading a newspaper. I want opinions and facts get in the way.

Clear as water. But you get 1000 internets for being honest.

Hard to be a bust as a 6th round pick....

Was it us fans hyping him all preseason or was it the the coaching staff telling us all how versatile he is, how he can play TE, FB, and even a little WR in certain packages?

and is the Wildcat officially dead for us? Not that I would be upset about that....

The coaching staff hypes everybody up, but for some reason the fans choose the guy to cling to. Aj Edds is another one I never understood. Patrick Turner was one a lot of people continued to hype up just because of camp reports. I think it is hope more than anything else. When Turner was here we needed a #1 receiver. With Edds it was hope that we could finally defend TEs. Now with Clay people are dying for a TE that can be a weapon. I have gotten so jaded about this team that I no longer believe a damn thing coming out of training camp and I just assume all these guys suck until they prove that they don't.
