Mabey there is more to this QB story?

Mabey I am just plain crazy, but lets take a moment and think this through
or let me dream.. Is it possible just possible that this whole Daunte / Drew thing is a smoke screen?

The Vikings have a trade meaning they are getting something in return for Daunte could that trade inculde Ricky Williams? Ricky to the Vikings, Daunte to the Dolphins and than the big surprise is that the Dolphins Deal Daunte to another team mabey the Raiders, Baltimore or someone else for there #1 draft spot moving up to say 4-7 in the draft allowing the Dolphins to get Cutler, Young, or Lineart? and pickup Ramsey for a few years or keep Gus

I know its far fetched but I dont see Saban going with a broken goods QB with his reputation on the line. I trust Saban and if he thinks Daunte is the the man than I have to agree. Saban always holds his cards close to the table and we have been hearing rumors and such for weeks on the QB situation. Not Sabans style so something else is up I smell a 3 way deal.

Mabey Miami was able to offer more in players or something than another team could?

Mabey we will pick up Jay Fieldler and backup him with Feeley? :sidelol:

Also if Daunte is a done deal and it would have to be now, why is bree's even coming here on Sunday!?

You've got to be kidding me.

Ricky is untradeable right now, and probably not much better if he wins his appeal. And if Duante gets traded, it would probably be for a conditional 2nd or 3d round pick in 2007. He's not going for anyone's #1 this year.

Obviously, the Duante deal isn't done yet, and since they can't assume Culpepper would be traded to Miami, it's more than logical to schedule a visit with Drew Brees.
 
well the raders wont give up first rounder for him I heard on the radio this morning thay pulled out of the running for Daunta because the viks wanted a second rounder

While I agree it is far fetched, and I guess I might be crazy it's that time of year where pigs can fly you know. I just thought mabey there is more to the story than what we are reading. Mabey it's not ricky mabey its someone on defense?! I just thought mabey we are going to make a big splash after this trade..
