Madison was playing "okay" until he got flagged for Def. holding then he got fired up!!! Madison was making open field tackles, covering his man like a hulk and jawing with Ol' Marty....

If he could maintain that fire he would be a pro bowler once again!

the great thing was him actually laying some nice hits. thats the madison i wanna see. i actually think hes getting some of his swagger back after that INT

Sorry. Don't think so. He's gotten used to Saban and is playing well. Don't throw out dirty water until you've got fresh water, and we don't...

unless you can somehow find a probowl CB to be our #1 CB, then it aint happenin.

I'm wearing my madison Jersey today! MAN was he mad after that PI call. I haven't seen him that fired up in years! He was taking LT on all by himself!

The phins won't drop him until they are confident they got players that can replace him especially with that cap hit for releasing him. I'm sure they will be trigger shy after trading Surtain only to watch his replacement go on injured reserve and the depth get shredded huge (Howard).

I think Madison will be asked to take a paycut. he is overpaid, you can't argue that. He's making more than the guys who are going to be at the probowl. he has played well not great. His salary cap figure is over 6mil this year, going by the Salary cap thread. You don't pay good players great players salaries. If he is making that much next year, he is way overpaid. I think he has played well and true we don't have anyone to replace him but I believe that he will be asked to take a paycut or be released. 6 mil can be spent on attracting very good players from other teams to replace him.

Agreed. But I'm sure he wants to stay. And I'm sure Saban would like to keep him.

Madison should stay and let Poole get his legs back after the injury and T.Daniels get another GOOD season under his belt...

I'm not sure whos gonna be the Nickel but thats one heck of a CB tandem.

I am sure Nick will either draft a first day CB or sign a solid veteran to come in and compete also.

Yeah he played well, He should play great against Brooks Crappinger.

They won't save 6 million by cutting him. He has a lot of gauranteed money from restructuring his contract twice.

He'll most likely take a pay reduction, and be back.

But up to today, Madison has been the teams number one corner, so he is getting paid pretty much right on par.
