Madison will be 32 in April. He is scheduled to earn $3.5 million with a $6.18 million salary cap figure in 2006. And Madison isn't an ideal fit at cornerback in a scheme that calls for more zone coverage and run support than the Dolphins' previous defense, where he was used almost exclusively in press coverage

i actually would like to keep sam that cap# is kinda high but i think he might accept a re-structure...but i belive he hired rosenhaus so that may be unlikley..i dont want sam to go seeing pat go was bad i dont want to lose sam aswell:cry:

it happens, and will likely happen here with Sam... hopefully he goes to the NFC...

but he WAS on that horrible show Cribs with a sweet house down here... maybe he would restructure...

i doubt it. He was mad when we traded away Surtain. The FO promised him he could finish out his career with Surtain when they signed his extension. Then we traded him. I think he's bitter ever since.

don't let the door hit ya Sam!

Relax...Sam goes nowhere...he is totally in Saban's plans. Trust me. ;)

I love Sam, I always have and always will. However I think he needs to go. I really like what I see from Travis Daniels, and Will Poole will be healthy next year. I think those 2 should start. Let Sam move on.

What's wrong with Sam?

washed up, bad attitude, punk, bad penalties......should I keep going!

I am not a fan of his!

SAM WILL restructure ... why ...

Ummmm, because he couldn't make 6 Mil anywhere else ... and not here either !

Good, objective analysis Mr. Positive.

Try watching a game once in awhile...the guy has had a VERY good year.

Sam is a relic. Everyone loves the guy because he's done so much in the past. But lets check out the last few seasons.

One interception in two years?

How many times has he been burned? How many penalties on good ole Sam for defensive interference?

The guy is NOT what he used to be. Not even close. We need to draft young, get rid of him and be glad for the memories he gave us. He hasnt contributed to this team in a long long time.

I for one would love to see someone with talent and youth at his position.

Yes, because if a corner does'nt have interceptions he is a bad player...

The guy has given up ONE touchdown this season.

I've had WAY too many Heineken's to have this arguement right now...think what you will...
