Great article Nublar! :up: Most deep ball that Madison's seen in his whole 9 year career here in Miami?! Wow. I'm surprised to hear that, but that's really really good news. I AM SO PUMPED RIGHT NOW!!! :rawk:

well at least our d will get some more experience handling the deep ball during practice so they wont get screwed as much in the games

That might be the case of last year and possibly this year but as soon as we get to 4 this year AJ/Gus willl be pulled and we will start running the ball more hopefully
 
LOL @ deep ball with fiedler. thats a contradiction. Jay couldnt throw 40 yards.

You better hope that our OL doesn't pick up the blitz a lot better this year. Remember the 1st quarter last time we played and the Bills didn't blitz? Feeley tore it up. Then you guys remembered to blitz and Feeley was down on his back within 2 seconds again :cry:

Seriously if Boston doesn't get injured again that boy is going to own some nickel corners.

The game in miami last year, Feeley played one of his best halves of football all year against us.

You entire season rests on your Oline and Feeley/Gus. All the game plans, Ronnie Browns, and returning wideouts in the world aren't going to matter if there is no threat through the air.

Same can be said for the Bills. Just different names.

I think our defense gives us a little more breathing room for mistakes though.
 
It always comes down to the lines really. OL is where everything starts. I tell you I've never seen anything in my life following this team then watching Feeley get slaughtered within 2 seconds. I watch the time Brady gets behind the NE line and I drool.
 
Damn I am excited....no more boring 3 and outs like under Wanny!!!!! I know Gus is able to throw the long ball pretty well from watching him when he was Denver's QB....I haven't seen AJ throw many deep passes but he was never given the time last year to throw deep.

Its ridiculous isn't it. Manning too.

Last year, after McGahee had other teams worried, Bledsoe actually had some time once in a while, and then...pump, pat the ball, pump,...sack.

This year, to actually have speed and mobility at QB is gonna be a treat.

He's never really thrown the deep ball, even in college. I don't think he's got a weak arm, but the systems he;s played in haven't called for it I guess?
 
Considering Feeley didn't complete a pass longer than 40 yards all last season I'm willing to bet it's Gus chucking them deep.

First someone has to be Open 40 Yards down field, Second you need time to get open or time to hit the open guy. It all starts in the trenches.
