Madison: "Most Deep Balls In 9 Seasons!"

First someone has to be Open 40 Yards down field, Second you need time to get open or time to hit the open guy. It all starts in the trenches.

That's funny, the first ball Sage Rosnefels threw when he started last season was a 70 yard bomb to Chris Chambers. Feeley couldn't do that all season and Sage did it his first time out. I rest my case.

Considering Feeley didn't complete a pass longer than 40 yards all last season I'm willing to bet it's Gus chucking them deep.

Receivers have been raving about the wide-open passing attack. Fans can judge for themselves whether reports regarding Frerotte's lack of arm strength are true.

All of our present QBs have good arms. Its the accuracy that is in question.Thats what seperates the the good QBs from the bad.

Good article Nub. I hope to hear some good news about Boston from this weekend's camps.

I hope so too...no more excuses for him, he needs to have a break out year.

It was only like a 20 yard throw with about 50 yards of running after the catch.

I may not agree with you, but there are plenty of things you can legitamitley trash AJ about. Not throwing any deep balls is not one of these subjects. If you really think our O-Line gave him that chance your crazy.

Actually you'd be hearing alot of "sacked by Abraham, sacked by Ellis, sacked by Robertson..., intercepted by Barrett, intercepted by Coleman,..." :D

love it... come to think of it, did we ever go bombs away on first and 10 with Fiedler? can't remember much of it...

about 2 or 3 years ago on Thanksgiving against Dallas. Our 1st offensive play of the game was a bomb to Chambers that would have been a touchdown if Chambers didn't have to slow down his stride to come back and wait for the ball. Either way, they started the game with that loooong completion. It was still good stuff.

Maybe we will have a better idea after this weekends mini-camp, being that it's open to the public.

This is such good news. It's about time we go out and put up some points. Enough of the boring, low scoring, Jimmy J ball.

Hopefully Chambers will have the same amount of TD's as he did in 2003. Does anybody know if Boston and Booker are any good when they go deep?

Hardly. Throw deep on Clements, Milloy, Vincent, and McGee.

Unless your line buys Feeley some time, he's gonna rush it, and you know what happens to Feeleys passes when he rushes.

6, the hard way

you mean throw deep on clements like jacksonville did on 4th down in the season opener for an easy completion? 1st Down!

as for old man vincent lol. enjoy him for the first 2-3 games then he'll be in and out all season long with nagging injuries. he's washed up.

milloy has 2 ints the past 3 years.

mcgee is 5'9" lol. my money is on chambers for that jump ball and if it's against boston lol bills are fools for trying to cover the beast with a 5'9" cb

Its ridiculous isn't it. Manning too.

Last year, after McGahee had other teams worried, Bledsoe actually had some time once in a while, and then...pump, pat the ball, pump,...sack.

This year, to actually have speed and mobility at QB is gonna be a treat.

I know a lot of people have Losman as a question mark, but you guys must be happy to have gotten rid of that Bledsoe statue.
