Barry Jackson, of the Miami Herald, reports <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/22/nfl">Miami Dolphins CB Sam Madison reiterated to friends he won't take a pay cut from the team. As previously noted, Madison has been linked to the Kansas City Chiefs, Atlanta Falcons and San Diego Chargers.



You guys think we can get something for him

he was on sprots jam last night
and they asked him if he would take a pay cut and he said on live tv Anything is possible.
 
maybe a 6th, we can't get much for an overpaid hasbeen

woah!..Hold up, brotha. If Surtain can get us a 2nd round pick, Madison can get us at least a 3rd!:rolleyes2
 
Travis Daniels is ready to take over, might as well dangle Madison and see if we get any decent offers!

Surtain is levels above Madison, we might notch a 5th for him if we decide to trade him but I think he gets cut
 
Madison probably won't be back in a Fins uniform. He still is pissed that Surtain was dealt. He has served the Fins well and I'd wish him luck if he leaves (except when he's playing against us in the future). Some of this rhetoric he's spewing about is negotiating fodder. It doesn't appear as tho there have been any serious attempts by either side yet. That doesn't bode well with those who want Madison back.

He's at the point where he will slip farther rather than stay the same or improve. He also won't get the 8 digit SB that he wants from anyone else. At any rate, he doesn't fit into the style of CB that Saban wants, so I doubt he comes back.

As to him not taking a pay cut, he probably will end up with a pay cut, it just probably won't be here...

You will hear alot of players saying the samething that Madison said about not taking a paycut, but at the end, most of them wants to stay with their team and take the paycut. I expect Madison to do the same. Now I would think different if he was younger, but he is old and he should just stick until he retires.
