so if you trade madison, who will be your starting CBs next season?
2 over paid FAs? or maybe a high draft pick?

Daniels/Poole and a draft pick/FA. Daniels has been playing ok as a rookie and Poole was expected to take Surtain's spot originally. Both players can also cover in the slot.

I thought we were picking top 3? ;)

I dont think it would be worth it to trade madison at this point. I dont think we would get very much for him and we still need him at cornerback as poole and daniels continue to mature in the position.

Our seconday looked like swiss cheese yesterday.. If Collins had his "A" game we'd be not feeling as good as we do today. There were Oakland receivers WIDE open... Thankfully... their passing game was enemic!

i'm with you on this. All these trade this guy or that guy, are stupid and rediculous. They always say that it is to bring up discussion on a subject. Well what the hell reason is there to talk about something that will never happen. Have any of you guys ever noticed that trades rarely happen in the nfl. It must be the madden era fans.

its called rushing the quarterback.

Yeah I have a bit of a problem with all the papers grading out the secondary as good as they have graded them out. I saw the Herald give the DL an A- but the secondary an A, which I thought was insane. If I were looking at key matchups, this is what I would have in there:

Key Matchup
Who: Sam Madison and Travis Daniels vs. Jerry Porter and Randy Moss
Who Won: Jason Taylor, Vonnie Holliday, Keith Traylor, Kevin Carter, and David Bowens
What Happened: Moss seemingly got open when he felt like it, and burners Alvis Whitted, Doug Gabriel, and Jerry Porter all came open in the deep segments of the field against the Dolphins' zone coverage. Collins never got the chance to exploit the mismatches, however, as Jason Taylor and Vonnie Holliday went into berserker mode and collapsed the pocket inside-out on most deep drop plays. The two were afforded the ability to tee off by Oakland's inability to pose a threat through the running game, thanks again to another stellar outing for Keith Traylor. Kevin Carter had a solid effort in both phases, and as a situational pass rusher David Bowens was able to affect the quarterback as well.
