Your point? Madison has been far from his all star level of 5 years ago. He has been doing that the past 2 or 3 years.
 
oh you dont have to tell me, my nickname for madison is "toast." what concerns me though is i don't have a thesarus and i need a similar name for reggie howard. but as for madison, he's been on the decline like you said, for some time now, but there are many people around here who either don't accept that or don't see it that way.
 
They must not watch games then. It has been real clear the past few years. He is still a solid player, but far from the upper tier some regard him to be.
 
Oh come on. This is Sam's first game since almost half a year. Give him a break.
 
I never really recall him being that strong against the run even in his heyday. Same with his aggressiveness causing penalties.

I've noticed a couple times where your DBs have been beat deep but Grossman or Hutch totally overthrew their open man.
 
im definately not happy with the CB's....Howard got beat 2 or 3 times deep down the field and Madison seems to be just a lazy player...I dont care if its only a preseason game, these players should be pumped and ready to play
 
daniels hasnt been impressing either, i saw him just get juked so hard at the line and beat by real fast on the quick slants, only defensive back that has looked decent is Bell.

That wasn't Madison, it was Howard. Madison is #29 & plays the RCB spot 99% of the time, Howard is #25.

General consensus on here, & Madden agreed, that it was a bad call.

Madison was blitzing on the play. If you noticed Madison was in the backfield when the ball was snapped & Bell slid over to cover his man. He was going for Rex, he wasn't in run-blitz mode.

.5 out of 3 correct.
 
I think Madison will have a rebound year. I think hes one of those Vets who is regenerated by Sabans attitude. Give him a break it was the first time in a game situation for a while, everyones gonna be a little rusty. Plus hes that veteran savvy and leadership we need on the team.
