Magic close to signing Kareem Rush

Karem is a good player... But if his work ethics are in question then that lends to some concerns..
 
rush is a bust...for one his work ethic sucks as stated and he cant stay healthy, Hes got loads of potential still to be good but Im not going to miss him :wink: :wink: :wink:

I'll take that "bust" with his outside shooting and good D as a role player on the Magic anyday.

Yes, he plays good defense. But what did he make, four 3-pt. shots all of last year? Literally?

We drafted JJ, great. But we still need more shooting.

Kareem plays good D too.

yea he does think hes great. but who cares. we have enough 3 point shooting with Jameer, Turk, JJ, and Garrity.

Deshawn has incredible athletic ability, can play good D, and can drive to the hoop, something no one else can do outside of Jameer and Arroyo. And Hill when healthy. So basically if our PGs arent driving, we are forced to post up or shoot.

Of course i wouldnt pay 25 million for him, but still.......Rush? blah
 
Too bad it isn't Kareem Abdul Jabbar. :wink:

If I'm a Magic fan, I'd much rather Deshawn Stevenson.

Rush can shoot the lights out, but he's well-known around the league for one of the worse work ethics some has seen. He relies 110% on his jumper and doesn't really care to improve the rest of his game, and it's sad because he has so much potential. He'd be a good guy for a garbage team to gamble on, but for Orlando, who I call a playoff team, you're probably better off with Stevenson.
