In oder for us to get a win against next sunday what do you fear is our biggest concern? or Task to complete in order to Put up the W the Most...

1) Contain Their Run game

2) Contain their D-Line from thrashing frerrotte

3) The speed of their corners/linebackers

4) Our beat up Secondary.

Personally....... i think the biggest fear for this week is the pass rush against our Oline.... Could be a long day if we cant block.. Coleman , kerney and the rest of the speed demons burning our O line and Taking frerottes head off. We stop this .... Theres the win

The Chiefs running game burnt us 11 days ago, no reason why Atlanta can't do it again. I think we could have a good day rushing against them as well and throwing some screens against that speedy D-line.

Our biggest concern is stopping Warwick Dunn and TJ Duckett.

Agreed. Yesterday was the blueprint for how to play on O for this team to be successful.

it's the running game. i usually have a lot of confidence in our defense even with out bad our secondary is, but the running game is atlanta's far and away biggest strength. i hope to control the clock.

Ducket's hurt and might not even play....... so i think we might not have to worry about that change of pace bruising back....... and as for Vick..
We held two others "somewhat" scrambling Qb's in check.... plummer and Brooks......... both are considered elusive... maybe he wont be too much of a problem..

Our oline has not been the worst this year and if we can get the run game established we can get some playaction rollout plays and hit some receivers deep like the Boston play yesterday. But it is all about running the ball and keeping the defense off the field. We had the ball for 36 minutes yesterday and that kept our defense fresh for the game. Reggie Howard didnt play as bad as I thought he would and he got an interception. That win may have been just what we needed to get some confidence back. If Seau plays that will also help alot for the run defense.

I posted this in another thread that I started here is what I think:

If we're going to beat the Falcons, we must play Wanny ball. Here's why:

1. The Falcons have a terrible run defense but a very good pass defense
2. Frerotte is shaky at best
3. We have 2 monster RB's that can more than shoulder the load
4. We have to win the TOP battle in order for the defense to be fresh enough to keep up w/ Vick and that offense.
5. By running the ball 45-50, we will more than likely force the Falcons to wilt under the South Florida heat in their black jerseys by the 4th quarter.

What do you think?

LOL, yeah but Duckett isn't who you have to stay up late worrying how to stop. Warrick is so underrated it is crazy! Dunn is the guy you have to stop on this team.

If we stop Dunn, we win.

We definately need to control time of possesion, IMO.

I agree.. Dunn is massively under rated...... but he is WAY more effective with duckett in the game... Defense's take lickings from a slow but powerful duckett.. Then have to deal with dunns speed... IF T.J. dont play its an instant advantage.

The Falcons can pound the life out of you on offense. Stopping Dunn is going to be a major concern IMO. The Falcons WR's aren't that scary, but when they're running the ball, it's tough to slow them down.....

They also have a strong DL, and if our OL struggles even alittle, Frerotte could have a long and painful day. The Phinz running game looked good yesterday against the Saints, but the Falcons are a much tougher opponent...

This is going to be a tough one for us. The Falcons are probably the strongest team we've faced thus far. A TRUE TEST....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

does anyone know if there corners are still gimpy?
