ok guys, I'm bored and getting anxious as the draft is slowly but surely nearing by and was just looking to see a SMART REALISTIC MOCK DRAFT.

My order....

1st pick, 15ish, pick up Cutler if not there, Bing/Landry, Greenway, or Huff.
2nd pick, C, CB azamaitis i believe the name is, Blue SS or Pollard SS or LT.
Trade booker for a 3rd and if possible pick up a 2nd again like last year.
3rd rd pick up the next hole to fill that is BPA.

FA market.....Peterson, T.O./Wayne, Sam Adams, Hutchinson and a CB. would love a C as well but that can become too much of a dream then realistic.

Free Agency:
LeCharles Bentley, Steve Hutchinson, Julian Peterson, Reggie Wayne (mabye?)

I don't know who I want for the draft.

I don't know who I want for the draft.

If we were playing Madden '06 that would be possible but since we are'nt...

Hutchinson and Peterson would be sweet but I think that is a little too much to ask.

Why is it too much to ask? we have the money and saban and many articles have said that miami is looking to pick up TWO KEY free agents this offseason. One on each side of the ball.

getting peterson, hutchinson and wayne would be impossible. Maybe 1/3, but we wont get wayne. he will want #1 money.

lmao, all 4 of those guys will be getting giant contracts. we may be able to get ONE

i see owens coming here for the right price most def.

Okay...

I don't know much about Cutler, but I'm willing to pull the trigger in the first on him just cuz we need to do that.

If he's not available, and we're in the second half of the first round, then I want to see either one of the big LTs (Jonathan Scott, Marcus Mcneal, Eric Winston, Andrew Whitworth, That USC Jr.) or one of the wonderful DBs (Jimmy Williams, Michael Huff, Cedric Griffin, Will Blackmon, laron landry). If either Hawk, Greenway or Hodge is available, I'd take a linebacker, but those are my wishes for the 1st round. I also like Martin Nance, receiver from Miami OH, but that's just cuz I'm all about really fast dynamic 6'5 receivers.

As for the second round, if we haven't gotten a quarterback or a defensive back, we pull the trigger there. I'd take Hackney there, or maybe croyle if they think he'll be healthy in the league. I'd also take Marcus Maxey there, but that's a reach, and I'd only do it knowing this was his first year starting. If Jared Allen from Tennessee is there too, that's another option. But as far as the position goes, it has to be a QB or a DB with LT picking up the rear.

The 3rd round should be where we take the player that was projected in the first but slipped to our spot, i.e. Roger McIntosh, Orien Harris, Gabe Watson, or whoever it is (like Crowder last year *on almost every mock 1st round at 32 to NE)

4th to 7th is just Nick and Randy's playground, as far as I care. But lets just get that QB, DB, LT in those first 3 rounds unless some extraordinary opportunity presents itself.

Thanks for listening.

i agree but i dont believe scott williams huff hawk hodge mcneal n such woudl be there when we pick. all top 10-15 picks we might get lucky tho. I do like ur train of thought as well adn would love to pick up another 2nd or 3rd rd pick. remember guys, CC came out his soph year i believe and imagine would 2 more years of exp. that would have "made him a sr" but he is gettin it via NFL experience, imagine how great this kid can be.

educated guess? ok, imo, the f.a. that we target is bentley at center. first round pick - cutler, if he's there. if not, huff or greenway. round two, the best available OT, with the idea he starts in '07 (gives him a year with houck). round three and on, best player available. it won't hurt to hope that some of the these junior qb's (young, quinn, jacobs) declare, add to the qb options.

I dont know what picks we have and what we dont have so here just all 7 rounds
1st-Jon Scott
2nd-Martin Nance
3rd-Kelly Jennings
4th-Darrell Hackney
5th-Skyler Green
6th-Devan Long
7th-Brandon Mckinney

If anyone would post all are picks ill adjust them.
