Tony Sparano stated in today's press conference that the "We Want Orton" chants made him sick and he's very dissapointed. Like I stated before the other day...it makes me sick too that I had to witness our own fans acting the way they have the first week of practice.

Very dissapointing....
 
it is disappointing. no matter how you feel about henne, we have to try and support him bc it looks like he will be the guy.
 
Cowher power. After the 99 season (senior year of college at Carnegie Mellon), stiller fans were looking to run him out of town as well.
 
It dissapoints me that in 4 years of this front office we have still yet to address the QB position!
 
Well Tony everytime I see your ugly mug in Dolphins gear I throw up in my mouth! Can we call it even?

You want to know what makes the fans sick, coach? Sticking around and supporting this team through thick and thin, paying good money for tickets, paraphernalia, satellite packages to watch, etc...just to see you guys stay content with quarterbacks who throw more interceptions than touchdowns.
 
Two things:

I generally agree that the booing of our players, no matter how unpopular they are with the fans, is really crappy but understandable at the same time (afterall, the fans are frustrated). What I don't particularly like is the "We want *insert player name here*" chants. Can't be good for current player morale, which doesn't help field performance.

The other thing is that this regime (and many of Sparano's coaching decisions) MAKE ME SICK. I don't think he is in any position to be commenting about fan reaction.
 
Kinda the same when we drafted Ginn! Support our team and stop acting like a group of Bit*****
 
And people were shocked that the team played better on the road last year than at home. It's getting to the point that you have a lot more negativity to deal with when you're home than when you're on the road. It's not just going on in Miami, you see it with a lot of teams in all sports.

You know what.....Sparano. Cry me a river. Youre paid to coach not to make personal commentary. You make a salary that is greater than 99% of the public, sorry if you are disappointed. What makes me sick is the continuance of this mentality of "we can get by with this guy". I dont agree with people booing Henne at practice...we should have booed your sorry ***

After the 99 season? After that season, Cowher had qualified for the playoffs 6 of 8 seasons, made 3 conference title games, and 1 Super Bowl.

LOL at comparing him to Sparano and his one fluke playoff season, ready to head into the campaign with Josh McCown until Pennington fell out of the sky, facing seemingly one of the easiest schedules in league history, and getting bounced hard out of his one playoff game...
