OK, let me start of by saying that all of us Fins fan know that we are much better than are record indicates......heck Mike Wilbon just said on PTI that he thinks we are the 2nd best team in the AFC.

With that being said, we are missing one piece (assuming gibril wilson stops being a b****), and that's a number 1 WR. Ginn and his family proved last night that he can be a perfect #2 reciever who essentially runs a go route every other play. But fins need that reciever who can do it all, and that's not easy to come by.

Many are looking at next year's draft, but heck I want to win this year! So why not do what the Jet's did and make a splash at the trading deadline. Now I know what you're thinking, and no I am not incinuating trading T.O.......never and I MEAN NEVER would I want Owens on my football team.....

...But he's not the only option available; and there are 2 that come to mind.

Santana Moss and Anquan Boldin.

Obviously, Boldin would be the ideal WR therefore making him very difficult to trade for........so let's look at Moss.

Yes, Santana is small, similiar to Ginn.......but he's is MUCH more versatile to Ginn and would easily be the best WR on our team. The Redskins are floundering and have many young WRs, therefore we would be in perfect position to snag Santana Moss.

I think Miami really has a shot to do something special this year, so WHY NOT GO FOR IT!?!?!

Come on Bill and Jeff, gives us what we need!

I dunno if moss would work he is sort of the same player as bess, but moss will go deep. I remember when will allen was with NY, moss put a move on him and had him spun all the way around and landed on his butt

I think if you are right about us needing a #1 guy, however, I think that if you are going to trade for a guy, trade for Dwanye Bowe who is a cheaper and younger version of Boldin. Boldin will most definitely cost us a 1st round pick plus more probably. Bowe could probably be gotten for a little less...maybe a 2nd round pick and a player or something. I'm not so sure about Moss. He is 30 years old and we Ginn is very similar

idc wut we have to give up for bowe, look what he would do for us...

Open up run game even more
Give henne go to guy
take pressure of Ginn
Open up Fasano in the flats
Help the Oline as the ball would probably get out much faster

Its crazy, we score 31 on a JET defense which though very overrated its also a very formidable opponent... would it even be possible for another team to put 8 in the box without getting burned? with D.bowe getting doubled, safties keeping an eye on Ginn, our excelent Oline, Fasano and Ronnie would go crazy, then, when they put in PA pass to bowe or ginn for the TD. i want him!

Sure, I'd love to have Andre Johnson, but that would just never happen.

I disagree...they are at a franchise lowpoint...they are also rebuilding...if they can get a draft pick or two, plus a good young player for the price of one, they would do it

They paid Matt Cassel a lot of money I dont think they would have a happy QB if they trade their only weapon

how many games are cassel and bowe going to win together? come on man, they need picks! they need to rebuild, we on the other hand are much much closer and almost at the point where u trade a pick or two for that guy. He is 25 and we still might be able to keep our first! hes past the down years of a WR career, the first 2 or 3 years and is a #1 WR. also, reports have been that all KC Chiefs players can be had besides Cassel and a DE i forget the name, for the right price.

Bowe was widely believed to be on the block just a few weeks ago. He's available. 2nd, Roth, and Cam.

Consider it a "thanks for letting me marry your daughter, DAD" gift from Pioli.

that would be an amazing trade for us, we'd be set on offense. can draft almost all defense next draft including one of (eric berry, taylor Mays, Roldando Mcclain, Brandon spikes) in the first..

ESPN - Adam Schefter of ESPN believes that the Chiefs would gladly listen to offers for receiver Dwayne Bowe.

Wilbon didn't say we are the 2nd best team in the AFC. he said, when it's all said and done we might be the best only behind the Colts. big difference. we still have a ways to go.
