Malvarez- henne has emerged as #3 in qb market

whats the over/under on, henne is an elite qb threads ,popping up in the afc east forum about week 5?

If he does sign w/ the jest, then I'd say sometime between wk 3 of the preseason & Week 2 of the regular season. Then, by week 7, the Henne is hot garbage threads will start to emerge.

Most people on here under estimate Henne's appeal throughout the league. I've been saying for quite a while that he'll be a desirable free agent, and that certainly seems to be what is shaping up.

Really?...what games have you been watching...Henne is a complete poser....any Miami fan with half a brain can tell you that....but good for you for being so keen on Henne's market value...I'm personally glad we are done with him.....

All of them. Unlike most people here, who just look at the stat sheet, read a few forum threads, and then go spouting completely ignorant opinions.

Hey, the bigger the contract and crappier the situation that he ends up in with a chance to start can only benefit Miami. If he signs a 4-5 million dollar per year contract and starts some games for a team (like Denver) the higher the compensatory pick Miami may possibly get for him next season

Of course he will be. Plenty of teams need a backup QB and there are still enough teams that undervalue the position and think having a competition between two backup QB's equals addressing the most important position in football (Miami has been one of them for the past decade).

There's nothing wrong with being a backup. He'll have a solid career doing it, with the occasional chance to start while the team he's starting for begins prepping for the next year.

I really think Henne could do well in the right system. A fresh start would do him good. I think he should stay away from Sparano and the Jets if he doesn't want to ruin career. He needs a change and running right back to Sparano would be a huge mistake, IMO.

just remember this: Henne had to deal with wildcat crap which screws with your development. Then he gets injured last year when Hilliard screwed up.

Henne will have better luck on another team. Whether he will step up to next level will still be the question.

KC would be nice stop for him.
