I know that they hate Miami and that they always dog us but its still hard not to get really annoyed as hell with them. I was watching ESPN News earlier and Mark Schlereth was talking about how the Bills benched Losman and how a change wont really affect them in terms of how they end up this season, because the Pats are in a lot of trouble on defense with injuries, the Jets Offense is in a lot of trouble, and "No one believes the Dolphins are really a 2-1 team." Its so annoying i know we havent proved anything yet, and i dont expect them to be saying we are Super Bowl bound after 3 games but i mean at least say "hey, they dolphins are playing a lot better than we have expected at this point."

I hate ESPN too, but I'm 40.I remember what it was like to
try to get sportsnews before ESPN and the internet,It was
horriable. If you didn't see the game ,you had to hope for
a few highlights from Howard Cossell on MNF half-time.

I don't see any respect coming our way even if we win the game on sunday....... I think if we beat buffalo , then tampa.........we will start to get looked at as the "real deal"

I know I didn't predict Miami to be 2-1 in the first three games. Denver, Carolina and the Jets were all teams that looked to be going to the playoffs. I am not surprised most people are surprised by the fact Miami is 2-1

Well, I am not 40, but I do remember the days before I had the internet and NFL Sunday Ticket. I remember being in middle school and early High School and having to scour the newspapers Monday morning for boxscores and writeups about the games.

In a weird way, I kind of miss that. But only in a weird way. The normal way, I would never trade my setup now. :)

I don't miss that at all. I don't know how I was a fan till the Internet. Being able to watch every game has been fantastic

I've grown extremely tired of ESPN as a whole over recent years....

NFL Network is much better when it comes to covering all of the teams in the NFL. They give me everything I need. I still enjoy watching NFL Live / PTI, but I've quit watching ESPN for the most part this season....

PHINZ RULE THE EAST!!!!!!!!!

I guess I've learned to tune out the idiot announcers and sportscasters...(guys like Berman, McGuire, Theisman, etc). I know they are biased to other teams. Heck, the local Miami writers aren't even on board yet...But that is the way it goes...More wins will equal more guys on the bandwagon...don't fret...it's not that big a deal...take from their commentaries what you want and forget the rest.

Schlereth is just p!ssed that we kicked the crap out of his beloved horsies.

Plus he's fat.
LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been saying this for years! ESPN loves their Pats and Sox...period...Did anyone catch how the 'anchors' were trying to make excuses for the Pats after San Diego destroyed them? I'm not really sure why everyone is on the Tampa Bay bandwagon either...they've beaten Minn., Buff., G.B. and Det...I don't see any of these teams winning more than 6 games this year. Yet we've beaten Denver and Carolina. As for Rich Eisen-I think Total Access kneepads are part of his daily outfit...not one of my favorites-probably as big a 'company man' that you could find.

Right now, if we do win the next 2, we will still get no respect IMHO. They will say that those teams were not as good as they say they were. I mean really Tampa has beaten teams that have a combine record of 3-12. tampa has been playing good football but maybe ist's due to the lack of competition, they should have lost to Detroit if not for the reverse call, even though it was ruled a TD on the field. The replay comfirms the call on the field and the sports media cannot believe it was overturned.

So at the end of this year, even with the toughest SOS, and this team has done just about everything that Nick has asked them to do, then we will get our respect...

I hear you, I'm 40 too (well, 39.8 actually) and live in Canada. That was even worse.
